[News] Cornerback Tray Walker Preparing For His Shot

Let's hope nobody thinks he's the next McAllister ALREADY. If the guy plays and gets torched a couple of times - give him the mulligan now. He's probably not there yet.

On the other hand, if he makes plays, let's just all be happy with him.

That's a big guy playing that position. From this film the other team would not throw to his side. He can tackle, gets involved, and can catch. (Tape shows lack of make-up speed) Well he not going to be Chris McAlister

Opportunities galore! Let's see who makes the most of them. Going to be interesting to see the next few games. Don't hold out much hope for any more wins but we'll get a chance to see one or two of our young guys get some important live reps.

We need a really good secondary coach next season. Based on our stats and talent levels, I don't think the secondary is being coached very well right now. They make too many errors in the way they cover. We have Jimmy Smith and a lot of other really athetic CBs but their technique is hurting them.

Absolutely my sentiments. I guarantee that he's going to get burned and a segment of our fan base is going to start screaming bust or carry on about not drafting Diggs.

Given that we have an anemic pass rush, our secondary is going to be challenged, so the rookie is almost guaranteed to have some struggles.

I like that he can tackle, and he seems like a good special teams player. Hopefully he watches a lot of Richard Sherman tape an tries to emulate him, being in that same frame. Just don't try to emulate another big-body like Brandon Browner, he stinks. Hopefully he shuts up the groans from UMD homers like myself about who we could have drafted instead.

KC has not exactly had WR's who have lit it up but I am glad that Tray is getting his shot. However I feel for the young man. I really think that we could give Reevis a shot in Pees defense and we would make him look bad! So... while I am happy that he is getting his shot... I understand that the cards are stacked against him... Pees system kills DB's careers! (Think of every DB who has played under pees -since pees got here and name one- just one who has showed more progress then regression)! Good luck Tray!

Jimmy Smith is the only DB who is worth anything. Walker cant be any worse than the rest of them.

Jimmy Smith has one decent year sandwiched between multiple season of being hurt or getting burned while running alongside WOs. He's been playing with shaken confidence since Cooper lit him up in in Oakland  week 2.

Tray definitely has the size and I hope he does good. I wanna see jumar rolle to he had a limited role in Houston but he showed flashes of being a playmaker. Speaking of playmaker I can't to see julian wilson next year can't wait
