Ravens to Evaluate Training Methods after injuries

3 posts in this topic

Saw this on the Ravens FB page, and was surprised this wasn't posted already. I know some here including me have been talking about this with all the injuries we have had, 38 over the last two seasons to be exact.

Quote from Harbaugh:

“We’re going to have to do a study. We do this every year, and I want to do it even more in depth this year in terms of what we do, how we do it, and all of those things,” Harbaugh said. “I’m looking for the reason, and I want to find out.”

What do you guys think? What is there that the team could do, I mean again I have to ask is this mostly due to the limitations in the CBA and the players just aren't conditioned as they used to be before the new CBA limited practice in pads and how many days they can only practice in pads, etc?

I have to note that, as the article said, only five players were put on IR as a result of muscular injuries. I'm really not sure what comes of this. It can't hurt, and we may get better for it, but I'm hesitant to say that the injury bug is due to poor training.
