Who is our team next year

58 posts in this topic

Season is over and I just wanted to predict and dream about the team I want next season

QB

1. Wacco

2. Bryn Renner

Don't care whose behind flaccito fresh as long as he doesn't get injured

RB

1.Justin Forsett (All Around)

2.Buck Allen (Receiving)

3.Lorenzo Talieferro (3rd down back I guess)

(?)4.Terrance West

FB.

1. Juice

WR

1. Breshad Perriman

2. Kamar Aiken

?. Draftee?

?. Givens

?. Daniel Brown

?. Campanaro

This WR situation is all kinds of messed up, We don't know if SSS is coming back even though he is still contemplating it but we'll leave it as if hes not coming, and ofcourse were still playing new receivers who are "auditioning" and some in IR (Campanaro and Darren Waller). Honestly I'm not a fan of Darren Waller... I don't know I just don't think hes aggressive enough. Ima lose my mind if we still have Marlon Brown next season.

This is what I thought of in the WR position.

TE

1. Crockett Gilmore

2. Nick Boyle

3. Maxx

4. Dennis Pitta (?)

Can we not Draft a TE this draft please... were pretty set even if Pitta retires.

LT

1. Eugene Monroe

2. James hurst

LG

1. John Urschel

C

1. Jeremy Zuttah

2. Ryan Jensen

RG

1. Marshal Yanda

RT

1. Rick Wagner

This Oline is a big mystery as well as K.O. might be leaving this offseason.

LOLB

1. Doom

2. Courtney Upshaw

3. Draftees?

ROLB

1. T unhealthy Sizzle

2. Z'D Smith

DE

?. Brent Urban

?. Kapron

?.

DT

1. Brandon Williams

2. Timmy Jernigan

3. Carl Davis

Dude thats a squad

LB

1. CJ Mosley

?.

?. Arthur Brown

?.

Noones believes in Arthur Brown and theres also a chance we lose D. Smith and he turns 34 this offseason

CB

1. Jimmy Smith

2. Vernon Hargreaves III

3. Will Davis

4. Kyle Arrington

5. Draftee? Fuller tho?????

Im pretty sure  webb is gone

FS

1. Kendrick Lewis

2. Terrance Brooks

SS.

1. Will Hill

2. Matt Elam (?)

P.

Koch

K.

Dude that can sing

Returner

1. Kaelin Clay

Special teamers

FS. Levine

LB. Zach Orr

LB. Albert McClellan

Vernon Hargreaves III is the only rookie I added in the roster because theres still a lot to look at the draft and hoping we draft him. Besides that, roster is still flexible and our cap can handle it I hope.
This team on paper looks amazing, ITS THE COACHES THAT NEED WORK

Its official, Gm should come to me to build this roster

Why in the hell would anyone want Kendrick back there next year? I'd rather see Elam in that spot over him. Jeremy Butler looks legit as well. West over ZO.

Well in my mind I would want Will Hill and Matt Elam to play their true positions which is obviously Strong Safety, I hate seeing Elam being put in at  Corner and his ability to cover the deep ball is terrible is terrible

ofcourse Kendrick can be cut but who will be our true Free Safety? Terrance brooks? Harbaugh barely plays the dude and trust me I want to see what brooks can do

No to Lewis, Pitta and Forsett and Camp. Lewis is horrible, its time our pick showed up(Brooks) or we draft Ramsey, even better.

Pitta wont be on the team, he retires if hes smart.

Forsett costs too much and a nice cap savings. He lost his, legs the end of last year. And was horrible in the Playoffs. Too much for that position. Buck, Tali and West can carry the load by commitee. Trestman actually is good at that along with Castillo.

Camp, man I pulled for that guy. But he cant last 5 min in a game. Some guys just cant be NFL players, doesnt matter how much talent they have or how much you pull for them. He wont even be in the NFL next year tbh.

Edit: also I think we move to the 4-3 on D and get a coach for that. We just have pers better suited for it. Not to mention we run it more than a true 3-4 base anyway. Look at the snaps in base vs nickle. Than look at whos in even in our base, or were last year also. I actually did a bunch of research and am thinking about making a thread instead of being buried in the fire pees one.

Man, that's a 0-16 squad you've assembled there.

Well I know I left it incomplete but as I said it could be flexed and its not like were going to see much more of a different squad

As I was making this thread I was also scratching my head on Forsett, we have three other young Running back in west, tali and Buck which make nice for 3 headed monster but Forsett is the only one we know that can do it all.

As for Camp I really want to give him one more chance, Im a huge fan of him and I really think he can be more than just an injury prone dude, hes been productive on the field

I'm beginning to think that you're Michael Campanaro......

He's kinda right. I don't thunk Camp even needed to go on ir. I think they did it so they could keep Perriman off it. Sometimes it takes the smaller guys a little while to figure out how to condition themselves

True. I bash him a lot but I do have faith in Camp. I like your avatar by the way lol

No way we part ways with Camp. Can you imagine what a team like NE could do with him in their offense? Obviously the biggest issue is he needs to stay healthy but we also need to get better at using him. I see him as a potential break out player next year if he stays healthy.

Definitely need help at WR though, Boyd/Doctson would both be great fits. Take BPA in the 1st round and then go after one of those guys hard with our 2nd round pick even if we have to trade up a little bit. I actually think SSS will come back but we have to prepare as if he isn't.

They confirmed that Camp's injury wasn't season-ending. He was IR'ed to make room for Perriman.

Which was beyond stupid.

They should've just IR'd Perriman or cut M.Brown, as it's not like anyone else was going to sign him.

i do like aiken, but he his not a #1 WR. thats a simple fact.

You're right. He's more like a 4 or 5, but the front office likes going to the bargain bin for WR's so I'm just saying don't be shocked

ya know, if it was any other past year i would agree.. but I think our front office has finally learned its lesson that the NFL is now a passing league. if it doesn't, then sigh.

but youre right. theyll probably be satifisied with aiken, givens, and perriman. oh good god that would be awful.

lol @ anyone who thinks we dont go into 2016 without a solid #1 WR free agent or trade deal

This front office has never cared about having a true #1 WR so I wouldn't get my hopes up. Best case scenario for WR we trade back and take Treadwell or go after Boyd/Doctson with our 2nd. There's no money for a free agent #1 WR, will tell you right now that's not happening. I've wanted us to secure a true #1 WR for years now and the front office disappoints me every year, at least they spent a 1st round pick there last year, I'll give them credit for that.

I still think Perriman will be impressive when he finally get's to play next year

I give Aiken credit for his improvement this year but I'm not drinking the kool-aid on him. Aiken is a benefactor of injuries and opportunity, we are just so void of any talent at that position right now that anybody who catches a few passes each game is already a stand out performer, the bar is set very low.

That's not to say he hasn't improved and shown some grit this year because he has, the guy is a #3 or #4 WR though, bottom line.

Strong safety requires tackling, which matt elam does not know how to do. The only position he will be helpful to this team is serving Gatorade to the real players

Even with the restructure, we wont gave enough cash for a game changing wr. We will go back to the bargain bin again, unfortunately. Why do you think the tean is going to beg a 37 year old steve smith coming off an achilles tear to hold off retirement?
