[News] Ravens-Steelers May Be Flexed Out Of Primetime Tonight

34 posts in this topic

Oh cool, this gives me a reason to watch tonight and root hard for the Dolphins! I was going to root for them anyway because I want them to draft after us. but I'd really like the Ravens in primetime one more time this year.

Regardless of who wins tonight, please NFL flex the Ravens out of primetime vs the Steelers.  No reason to get embarrassed while everyone is watching.

Fans should show up for the game or be ashamed of themselves. Do not let the Steelers take over our stadium!!! This would be a slap in the face to our players and organization. One bad season and everybody is going to stay away? Terrible if that happens. Go Ravens.

Fans asking to be flexed? People afraid that fans won't show up at the Bank?

WHAT has happened to my beloved Ravens Nation?

I get that we're bad and dealing with issues right now, but if these are the true colors of our fans we're no better than anyone elses fans.

This is just pathetic.

I'll be there. Come hell or high water or 4-10 or 5-9 or 1 pm kickoff or prime time.

To quote Ray Lew "anybody can show up when they're winning, NOW the best [fans] in football show up!"

Flexing out of primetime will make the game easier to watch for me in central Europe. I hope fans still show up at M&T Bank Stadium... how I wish I could go.. any day, any game the Ravens play.

Ok tonight for me to watch the Ravens on the 27th I need the Dolphins to win and OBJ to get 28 FF points. Our maybe just the Dolphins to win, though OBJ getting 28 FF points tonight would be great and likely be neat to watch.

Does it really matter???? ABSOLUTELY! Example: My brother is a PSL holder, has been for years. He goes up to NW Pennsylvania for Christmas. He was scheduled to get back from Warren at about 6:00pm, and head straight to the Steelers game... Now it looks like he could miss the game altogether.

THAT is just wrong..... I don't care what the record is. That screws up so many ticket holders, that have a lit of money invested in that game.

No one should criticize the NFL if the game is flexed. We are 4-9, out of the playoffs. If the game is moved to 1.p.m. so be it. Seriously, I wouldn't want to watch the same that happened yesterday on national T.V. It would be embarrassing.

Just goes to show you that no one wants to watch the Ravens play anywhere- if this was/ is the best rivalry, they wouldn't even talk about flexing this game- but we know, the Ravens arent the same team they were two years ago- what would the promo adds say, watch Rotheslesberger take on Marshall Yanda? SMH - The Ravens are my team, and I dont even want to watch this game. Sorry, but Ozzie ad DaCosta have to go- whatever they did 5-10 years ago shouldn't give them life time jobs

This is the result of being a 4-9 team, flex it. As for the season ticket holders, they were all gone by the 3rd Q yesterday- that's says a lot

At this point I don't even want any primetime games. I would rather not make a spectacle of this team, especially against that offense with this defense.

I'd love to see my Ravens play on Monday night. We don't always get them in Ohio so any chance I get to see them is kind of a big deal. I want to see what our young talent can do.

Jimmy Clausen and the Baltimore Ravens take on Ben Rothlesberger and the Pittsburgh Squeelers- for real, who in America wants to watch a terrible, talentless team play the Squeelers on Prime Time? The Ravens are my team, but I don't even want to watch this team with Clausen or Schaub throwing to our no-named receivers.. no offense..Flex us out please-

Just to be clear ... it is a Sunday night game that we're scheduled for. If it were Monday - they'd have no choice but to leave it. We played Cleveland on Monday night a couple weeks ago - that would have been flexed if they had the option.

I know - I don't live in the local market and they are clearly not going to show the Ravens now. They were slow to start showing us when we were winning year after year - but very quick to pull us in a bad season.

this is totally wrong because I planned all my trip from Mexico to see this game, and i arrive to baltimore at 4pm of december 27, this is a completely mistake for the fans. i invest all my money to make that trip and i want my money back.
