Start with Dean Pees, he inherited the Ravens Defense of old that was Rex Ryan, Spags, Pagano etc, and in 2 seasons he ran in to the ground. He's not even in their league...This Soft, prevent style defense does not work. Get some Fast, Hard Hitting Ball Hawks and let them fly all over the field and make plays. I don't care what the stats say about our defense, if you give up big plays any good team is going to expose that all day long. get some fast, big guys with a chip on their shoulder back in baltimore...

changes have to be made no matter what Harbaugh says. When they go into the offseason everyone and everything has to be looked at. From the offseason conditioning program to talent evaluation. Peas should be gone and possibly Trestman too. The Ravens dont want to turn into the Browns so this is the most crucial offseason in many years.

terrance brooks should start at FS the rest of the year, we spent a number 2 on him he has the hitting, closing speed, and eyes to read a qb to play the position, but it all comes down to the fact money talks way more over skill and more money is invested into lewis then brooks

Nailed it. We would never make Kendrick Lewis a backup because of this (contract, comp pick, experience), which is why Brooks hasn't gotten a chance all year.

the DB group is bad by any standards including Smith and Webb. May take years to get some players......looks like Pees may be gone. Take the OC with you.

It's been overlooked most of the year ( with exception of Chris Collinsworth ) that Jimmy Smith has never been fully healthy from that lisfranc foot injury. Jimmy has often avoided talk about being injured simply speak about his performance.

Hopefully next year he'll return to more consistent play and be completely healthy...

Using the, "Jimmy Smith isn't healthy"... "He's playing injured"... , etc. are two of the same excuses that have been thrown around since he started wearing a Ravens uniform. Face it, he doesn't have what it takes and signing him to an extension contract was probably a mistake.

jimmy smith sucks, he gets beat usually in every game. webb lost some speed with all his surgeries, will hill makes too many penalties, matt elm on ir? rebuild that terrible secondary. flacco needs to reduce his salary in order to buy better players, and he is no prize.

Harbaugh just noticing that now??   The Pees defense sucks!!  Period.  The greatest change the Ravens could make this year is getting rid of him.
