[News] Game Recap: Seahawks 35, Ravens 6

26 posts in this topic

I know I shouldn't be so disappointed. I thought they had a chance and then the first drive in the second half. I looked at my grandfather and he told me it was just game but it has become more than a game to me. I really hoped they could stay close at least.

Ravens ended up being manhandled for sure this game. However, I am glad that Daniel Brown is proving that he can hold his own in a regular season game against a quality opponent. Hope Daniel continues to develop and that he makes the roster next year. Daniel Brown has a lot of potential.

Losses aren't bothering me given the insane baggage we're carrying this season, but giving up 5 passing TD's? I'm afraid we've got some quitters masquerading as Ravens.

I liked Clausen's arm, he can zip the ball in there, and made some nice deep throws....You can really tell the difference between a live arm in Clausen, and a pretty much spent arm in Schaub....

The 3 of the 4 games the Ravens barely won were against very bad football teams (Browns, Rams,Chargers). Ravens look every bit of a 4-9 team. I am encouraged by some of the young talent on the offense. However, the defense stinks. Webb has got to go whether there is dead money or not. Does not make sense to continue to pay guys like Webb and Monroe who can't help you win.

I made my comment too quickly. yes there were bright spots in the game. Maybe the coach has learned something about these young players and this can help the team.

Someone said we have quitters on our team. I disagree I really think it is time to cut bait with

Webb and Smith. They can't cover and are way too slow when they have to chase. Actually this team

has no team speed at all. Everybody has out run us all year long.

No doubt the team was taken back to the woodshed for a old fashion butt whopping...Very disappointed in the game plan, i felt when we fell behind 21-6 Pees would ramp up the blitzing, we had nothing to lose by putting pressure on him, but give him time like we did with the weak pass rushing schemes he was going to pick the secondary apart....

I think it is time to rethink what we do in the off season. We have to find a way to keep some of these good defensive lineman. We let one get away every year and it is killing us. We also need to

find a way to keep KO. Don't know how but it has to change. We do not have enough talent to let

these guys get away after 4 years.

What was Jeremy Butler doing on the PS, while Marlon Brown was starting? Daniel Brown wasn't even on the team! Go figure.

Exactly. I can't fathom why we continue to overlook good pass receivers. They surely aren't hard to spot. They are the guys that consistently catch the ball, given the opportunity! Butler, Brown and Aiken are really good receivers. We need to get a deep threat and we should be set on Offense with our young, outstanding  Te's and Rb's.

After watching this game I was wondering who does the practice squad scouting and evaluation for this team. Daniel Brown and Jeremy Butler appear to be two of the better pass catchers we have right now. Actually they might be outplaying Givens-- a player we traded for this season and Aiken our second starter from week 1. When you don't know what you have on your farm how can you have a quality barn?

Shame we spent all that coin on J.Smith, much rather have put it towards KO, it was good to see him play LT, and the move would make sense, with Zuttah coming back, and Urschel can go back playing LG.....

We pay KO, Monroe's money and draft a guard.

I have been saying this forever. What good is it to draft a potential talent, develop him, and then let him go in his prime. The chemistry alone that is lost is immeasurable. Ozzie might be doing a good job of drafting talents, but he needs to do better retaining them.

Just draft the best CB when we pick, can't be any worse than what we have....All our CB's looked really bad....Wright looked like trash...again....Arrington looked like trash...again....and J.Smith, and Webb looked horrible as our #1 and #2 CB's.....JMO......

I definitely agree!  Whatever the formula has been...it needs to be tossed out for a new one that works!

Brother I said that back during preseason. But I got negged for it a lot and quoted by people saying "its only preseason" and "if Daniel Brown was really good the coaches would know it".

I didn't see the game, but I heard it on the radio. And I couldn't help but think, Harbaugh is the one running this ship, and Daniel Brown made plays during pre-season and harbaugh never gave him another shot. He actually cut him smh, the only reason why Brown got another chance is because of all the injuries. With that being said.. I feel like Harbaugh should be fired after this season, because he has done a poor job of evaluating our players. Daniel Brown should have been in the lineup since day 1. Harbaugh is a great guy, but not a great head coach. I still think he took the credit from Ray Lewis during those first 4 years.

Thought it was a great move to give KO a little trial run at LT. If he shows he could be an answer there, we could justify paying him. We'd much rather be looking for a guard this offseason than a left tackle. As far as the corners, I know they don't look good but I refuse to believe that they 'aren't good corners' or 'need to go'. Jimmy Smith was one of the best in the league last year before the injury- he's clearly just not healed. Webb is a really good player. They're only two of several individual players on our defense who are underperforming. We have two safeties (sometimes three) on the field every play, but neither corner ever seems to get help in the deep middle. Mosley does not look anything like a second-year version of a guy who almost just won rookie of the year. Kendrick Lewis has created one turnover and Will Hill is not as impressive in coverage as he was last year. To me that all points to coaching... We have more talent on defense across the board than MANY teams with who are playing better defense. Gotta hit on a defensive playmaker in the draft

If we cut everyone on this team that should be cut, we'd spend our entire cap on dead money. It's going to be a long, long road back to respectability. Years. And years.

What was the pass coverage on Baldwin called? In the end zone was that the Keystone Cops? Not another story of how hard they're playing for the coach and how much the secondary has improved. Young guys are playing for their future. If u want to limit bad penalties stop screaming into the refs ear on national TV.

We'd do better analysing first, because he's very valuable at Left Guard, but if he successfully moves to LT, we could play Kelechi Osemele, John Urschel, Jeremy Zuttah, Marshal Yanda and Rick Wagner. I think it's vital that we keep him!

I agree with you, sometimes it feels like we're having coaching problems.. Timmy Jernigan and C.J. Mosley aren't living up to the high expectations they've set last year, not to mention the blown coverages (can't forget recently-signed Shareece Wright on a one-on-one against Torrey Smith...).

We still had big flashes from both Offense and Defense and we should have a lot of optimism for 2016, we DO have a lot of talent on D specially.

Why are people still analyzing our loses? We stink because of injured players, lack of team chemistry, and beat up heart from this whole season. We did lose this game but the bright spot is we're closer to a top 5 draft pick
