The Good, The BAD and The UGLY week 14--Seahawks version

152 posts in this topic

The good:  Top draft picks in each round.  (Time to rebuild).

The bad:  Having to wait for this season to finally end.

The ugly:  The possible reality that Pees will be back next season.

I can give you an LOL.

Yes, let's fire everyone because our third string team couldn't beat a 1st string team.

Over reaction by thin skinned "fans."

Who were the third strings on defense?

Who were the third strings on defense?

Did anyone actually expect our defense to stop the freaking Seahawks?

I would have expected this to be a shootout if we were healthy because that's what it would have had to have been.

When your defense is on the field for the majority of the game they're going to give up plays. Sorry but true.

guys need to be fired now.

its statement time.

Nah

The complete rebuild is coming no need to start it prematurely.

That was a good team and that was our biggest drubbing in my memory on our home field.  The injuries have to be factored but we are in complete rebuild mode. They didn't have have a running back.

and theres nobody here..........everyone knows.

People who need to be fired:

Deen Pees

Secondary coach?

Strength & Conditioning unit

Medical staff

Everyone on offense except maybe RB coach.

Secondary coach is Chris Hewitt BTW. He is the blunt of the problem. Molding our secondary into complete garbage.

I realize that this thread is meant to be towards the Seahawks game, but as was mentioned earlier; if Pees or whoever else hasn't been fired yet, then it looks like he or they probably won't be.  A lot of other factors remain to be accomplished in order to become a winning team again.  Some that the Ravens can improve themselves and some they cannot, but in my opinion, Pees needs to go in order for this defense to be great again. Then and only then we will become great.

top draft picks are never a good thing!

watching the offseason unfold in a slow burn will be,bad

finding cap space for all of these high drat picks will be ugly!

Brad Jackson has no problem naming Flacco when things go bad, but won`t name players such as Webb who really really stinks.

He and Ozzie made their bed, now they have to lie in it.

Harbaugh's not at fault here. He didn't draft bad players and sign players to bad contracts. Ozzie did.

They kept it close until the turnover near the end of the first half. However, having no run game and a newly acquired QB against one of the best defenses just couldn't hold for long.

Good: Aiken and Brown

Bad: Run game

Ugly: Score

No need to fire anyone now. Let the season play out, it's already almost over. Pees has to be gone after it ends though.

So you`re saying Harbaugh has no say in who comes and goes?

Pretty funny listening to some of this. Seahawks are absolutely on fire right now and we are destroyed by injuries... Like anything else was expected today...

The good: the weather was fantastic.

The bad: our team, sadly.

The ugly: the close captioning on the big screen translated "Dumerville" into "Tumor Bill".

But Harbaugh was part of purging players with heart and a mind of their own.

This is no longer a short term fix....this is a big rebuild.

If you're gonna start essentially from scratch........who do you start with...and I don't mean personnel.

Agreed.........theres no band aid for this

Injuries are a part of it sure......but this has been going south for a couple years......we overcame it to some extent last year, but we've lost large ground.

I know right! All I expected was to be competitive, but unfortunately the team's current circumstances caught up to them.

Not as much as Ozzie. Harbaugh may have SOME say in it but he doesn't have a say in contract salaries.

And last year was a mirage honestly. We lucked out playing the awful NFC South. Then we played PIT/NE who we always play well against. If we had beaten NE I have no doubt we would've lost to Indy in the AFCCG.
