Odds are we lose again. But a win is possible I suppose. It's EXTREMELY unlikely, but it would be great to upset Pittsburgh to damage their playoff positioning...

We don't play Pittsburgh. We play the Chiefs....

Please tell KC what a great Coach Harbs is. If they don't realize this in due time, he may be out of a job.

Please tell all of our employers to pay us for what we have accomplished in the past.

Could seriously see us winning this game. I'm not saying we will but the Chiefs are not very good on offense. If we can do an adequate job of keeping their O in check, all we need on offense is a couple point producing drives and we could possibly win.

Easier said than done though. Just don't think the Chiefs have a good enough offense to be scared of.

I get that but come on - was there really any need for a tweet like that?

He's a reporter, not a cheerleader. God forbid that a reporter reports.

You can say that again. The guy played better than most people thought he would have. It has just been a tough season all the way around From the Perriman injury then Suggs went down after that  SSS, Forsett and Flacco  guys going on IR it seems like almost every week. Clausen is who he is and with what shape the Ravens roster is in right now he played pretty darn good. It just is what it is and the players are playing their best it just is not the Ravens year. I can guarantee that Clausen DID NOT LOSE THE GAME FOR US. Like you said "Let's give him one more game to see if there is any improvement."

wha?? what game were you watching? he was missing open WR's left and right. looked lost most of the game. cant use the injuries excuse. our receivers played decent and got open, clausen couldn't deliver and was wildly inconsistent.

dude is 1-12 for a reason..

He did not lose the game for us and he did not throw any pick-6 was he great? NO but considering the defense he was playing against he was OK. That's what I meant by that post.

We should reserve judgment on Clausen as it was only one game, and his first after just signing a few weeks ago.

As for the Chiefs, Pees is still here, Joe and 21 others are not (if Marlon gets IR'd, it'll be 22) and if we win, not only do we all but hand a playoff spot to the Steelers but we also hurt our position in the draft.

Under these circumstances, It's really hard to hope for a win.

Thought I would never say this, but I couldn't care less about a W in this game. The big game is the following week, save whatever guns and ammo we have for the one that matters!

Absolutely! Sink the Steelers and it Saves the Season!

we wont beat the steelers with clausen starting. not happening. open up to reality.

Their defense really isn't all that either. More we won't beat them with this Pees vanilla defense.

With Harbs basically admitting that the 2016 season has begun for us, it'll be interesting to see which young guys take advantage/continue to take advantage of the snaps they'll get.

I appreciate Harbaugh's honesty. He kept this team trying hard for a lot longer than most bad teams would.

And notice that there really hasn't been any reports of mutiny or anything like what the Eagles were saying about Chip when they were getting blown out. Harbs can coach, but he can only do so much when there's a lack of talent and depth in certain areas.

I could care less if the Steelers go to the big game or even win it. If they do then so be it. I only care about our guys getting playing time and doing what is best for us. My only wish would be that Flacco could be the one getting the playing time with the younger guys for the timing and comfort level.

Is why i never understood shortening the pre season. We need every snap we can gather for just that purpose.

If we play well the rest of the season and are at 500 from here on out it would not be a bad thing. Give the young talent a taste for winning and losing as well. I do think we as Ravens fans have had it so good with being play-off contenders every year when we do hit a bad season we tend to over react. I know i have done it and knowing full well what we had with the Baltimore Colts and then i felt selfish LOL. We are the luckiest fans in the NFL.

Think we lose a 23-17 game. Hey this is only a extended preseason at this point, or a early one? Guess pending your outlook lol. Id rather lose, than beat the Steelers and knock them out of the playoffs. Id take a couple draft picks later just to knock them out.

Playing with the playoff simulator. Say KC wins this week, even if Pitt wins. Next week we beat them. Regardless of anything else, it comes down to the Jets Bills game. IF the Jets win, theyre in and Pitt out. If the Bills win than Pitt backs in. Well provided they win that week of course. If they lose theyre out no matter what. Keep that in mind when watching this game guys and gals. IF we win, unless we beat Pitt the following week and they lose the other games as well theyre in. This is evaluate who might be "on the bubble" for next year, or what kind of contract theyre offered, if any. But dont expect or even want wins tbh. Except against the Steelers. Lol

Some peoples fatuation with the Steelers, on this board, is just really sad. It's like they are at the top of our division and winning year in and out. I'm pretty sure that we have actually held our own against the Steelers in recent years.

How have we been doing the past couple years against the Bengals? Like I said, some peoples blind hatred is just sad.

Depth has been a problem for a few years and probably/maybe has something to do with the draft position in recent years. Injuries. There probably aren't any teams that can overcome the level of injuries to starters sustained by the Ravens this year and still have a winning season.

You should work on that, it sounds like envy.

I don't know how text sounds but thanks. I've stated I have no problem with the Bengals winning. There is no envy. I don't want the Steelers to win and sure as hell don't want the Patriots to win. I don't envy those teams... I just don't like em, but if had to choose, I'd rather the Steelers than the Pats. It has more to do with having to hear their fanbase, than the actual team.

...I also bet they wouldn't make playoffs early in the season.

You have to look at bad calls too.  Ravens techinally didnt lose but 1 game from mid season. That also hurts.  But on the other hand we should have been good enough to overcome those calls.  Everyone says we need defenseive players on draft. No, we need to start with that o line and give flacco or who ever is there more time to throw.  We need to beef up the o line.  Look at all the "elite" quaterbacks who have so much time to throw and be accurate.  We need wr thats where we should start.

We are not beating the Steelers. We don't have the talent.

Both teams have beaten each other in the past with inferior talent and each always has a chance of winning.
