The top need this offseason is....

At first, I picked OLB to be the top need. But then I thought about the high-powered offenses that both the Steelers and Bengals possess. I'm changing my top need to OVERALL DEFENSE.

starting to lean that way as well. If it's not bosa then we will be moving back and grabbing Ramsey or ogbah.

A trade back is my #1 option, but its tough to rob teams nowadays.

Mel Kiper had this to say:

Jaylon Smith, OLB, Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Every week he jumps off the screen. It's really hard to pick out serious flaws, aside from a missed tackle here and there and occasional overpursuit. Smith is making a case to be a versatile linebacker you can select safe in knowing he can be plugged in right away. He can be moved around, has good length and can flat-out fly for a linebacker, with sub-4.5 speed.

He currently has him number 2 on his big board, i havent heard much of him on here or maybe just over looked his name, whats everyones take on him?

Id put the link in here but its an insider report.

Smith is a beast. He may very well be the best player at his position in this draft. I once said that of Hargreaves but I think it's more true for Smith than any other after watching him more closely.

I assume he's not on our radar since we have moseley correct?

He's probably my favorite player overall in the draft. I just don't really view him as a fit in Baltimore.

Smith honestly is probably the most talented player in the draft, but he is not a fit unfortunately. I just can't see him being able to do what we ask our linebackers to do. He is the kind of guy we draft, and sign a top flight 4-3 dc to build around a 3man lb corps.

So speaking of LBs and if they're fits or not, do you guys think Myles Jack is a fit?

Unless we permanently switch to 43, both Smith and Jack would be wasted talents in our D.

hey if he's the BPA then you never know, and Daryl smith may not be on the roster next year.

I think Myles Jack would fit well as an ILB. He'd mainly be used for covering TEs and RBs, something the Ravens are having trouble with right now. And the Ravens have a good enough three man line to let him freely roam around the field.

nah jack can hold up in traffic enough, he may be smaller but hes tough and strong and plays with a hard nose and has great hands. i think jack is a better "weapon" than smith, while smith is the more traditional guy... if that makes sense lol

I really don't have a problem taking Smith. If we traded back I wouldn't mind taking Smith. I wouldn't love it but it would be a good pick and pay immediate dividends.

I don't see that top 10 pick talent in Hargreaves. The more I watch him the more I see Justin Gilbert. Athletic freak, but he doesn't have it put together. There's going to be a lot of torching going on whoever selects him. I think Desmond King is far and away the best CB in the draft.

I don't think Jack needs to go to a 4-3 defense. You just need a 3-4 coach who wants a hybrid LB/S for his base defense, which is what they do in Arizona with Deone Bucannan. Pees doesn't seem to have any interest, but maybe our next DC will.

Left Tackle!! Tunsil is my favorite player in this draft by leaps and bounds!! A left tackle that complete is very very rare!! And he fits what Harbs wants at Oline!! A dominating physical Oline with athleticism to zone block. To keep Joe Cool clean, blast holes in the run game, allow a huge array of complex schemes and route concepts. and strike fear and wear out opposing offenses!! For high octane scoring while sustaining methodical drives and hit big plays on opponents!!

FS

WR

CB

OT

Pass Rusher

I understand that is your opinion but I do disagree honestly. Our pass rush has been the biggest problem for our defensive struggles, yes, even over our secondary.
