The top need this offseason is....

LT is top need. We have a fat investment in a long term franchise qb, he tore his acl, he now needs protection and this team can't afford to go without it

I have to agree and say it's LT even though I really like VH3. What'll it take to trade up and grab Tunsil if we're at 3 or 4?

If we're insisting on trading for a LT I'd easily prefer to trade back and take Stanley. Moving up would require a hatful of picks, possibly a future first and a second. Well and truly not worth it.

That would be cost to go from 4 to 3 or 2? Not worth it at all then

Here's a thought pay KO and move him back to LT move Urschel to KO's spot possibly trade back a few spots and could get a couple of picks to address a couple needs

If anything, we should really consider dropping back, given the number of spots we need to get better at. It might get interesting.

It's always hard to say, but fwiw Washington gave up a 2012 first and second, 2013 first and 2014 first to move from 6 to 2. And there's a good chance that whoever we're trading with also wants Tunsil, so they'd essentially be giving up "their" guy to trade back with us.

Good idea

Its a thought and it saves us from drafting Tunsil or Stanley and allows us to address pass rush or secondary also as much as I hate to pay Monroe he is better than Hurst although I would try to restructure if we cut him we only save 2.1 mil and eat 6.6 but he is hurt to much. I can't remember but I think Monroe played Guard as a freshman at UVA but I could be wrong. However I think Urschel may be better anyways.

Yeah, if the draft were tomorrow I'd be hoping we trade back with NO and hope their first-rounder next year is close to getting a guy like Garrett or Fournette.

Who would we pick with New Orleans pick this year then?

Stanley, Ogbah, Ramsey, Treadwell would be the first four I'm looking at. Even VH3 might still be on the board with his size concerns.

yeah if bosa and tunsil are gone this is probably are best bet. One of them qb needy teams will no doubt be overly willing to make that jump and we will reap the benefits. That means we could easily address 3 needs in the first 2 rounds and possibly rake in an extra high first rounder next year. Boom.

If we moved KO to LT Ogbah Ramsey I believe 2nd-3rd round WRs could be impact players. I know we have heard it before but I'm liking what I'm seeing in Aiken and Butler they will be 2nd 3rd or 4th WRs depending on SSS and what he does plus Camp coming back i know he can't stay healthy and I like Treadwell but I think Thomas Boyd Doctson Cooper possibly Braxton Miller could be good picks allowing us to address other needs

Only way I'd consider it is if Bosa and Tunsil are gone. And only if we can get an extra 2nd round pick in the 2016 draft and a 1st in 2017. Also only if we think a impact player would still be available. Could probably spend the 2nd round picks on Fuller and Boyd, We'd likely be screwed at Pass rusher though. Edited by Cillmatic

Lots of needs but in my opinion a left tackle and WR empowers the ravens offense enough to compete for a championship.

I know the Saints would probably never bite on this, but we could also think outside the square a bit and try for their 2017 first and Kikaha (in lieu of other picks). Take Stanley at 9 and hope we can pair Kikaha and Garrett as a long-term rushing duo QBs' nightmares are made of. Or have Fournette rushing behind the best OL (personnel-wise) Joe's had in his career.

I'd imagine the only way that trade goes down is that a QB the Saints like is on the board when we're picking (so the Browns go nuts over Lynch [i have a great pun for this but I don't think I can use it] and they want to jump the 49ers for Goff). At that stage, it would probably be assumed Tunsil and Bosa were off the board, and I think a future first would be a minimum return for us. Impact guys will be there in the top 10, so I think we can still find a good player.

Yeah, if we sign KO and use him as a budget LT going forward that could give us a few options. I'd imagine that's where we see him for the last three games of the season while we establish if he's any good there and get an idea of whether he's worth giving a boatload of money to (I keep coming back to that five-year $35 million contract Ben Grubbs got and imagine we'd need to fork out something similar, and that's not something you want to do lightly with Monroe's money still on the books).

It is going to be interesting to see if we just go with KO for the rest of the year at LT. Honestly, that is something we probably should have considered earlier. It was pretty clear that Hurst just wasn't going to be the answer.

If that is what we do, and if KO does well at the position and then wishes to play that position long term, While the effect is going to be determining whether or not he's worth a boatload of money ... if the answer is yet, we don't have a boatload of money to give. He will be gone and will be happy with us for showcasing his skills for his FA payday.

I get the desire for LT, especially if the Monroe stuff is true.  You just can't trot Hurst out there anymore.

However, pass rush is still absolutely huge.  Russell Wilson had incredible amounts of time in the pocket today and that in turn made our secondary look even worse than they really are.

I can get behind that, and it's not like the Seahawks OL is up there with the Cowboys either.

Tbh though, I still hope we just go BPA. Which I see being Bosa or Tunsil if they're there.
