big plays like having no deep safety and a corner of the street man v man on Torrey Smith?

Or no deep safety and having Kendrick Lewis man v man on AJ bloody green?

Those kind of big plays?

I hated the call on Green but actually liked the one on Torrey.  AJ Green is who they are going to call at that point in the game so no matter what risk you are taking, and make no mistake it was a calculated risk, you have to know they are going to go to AJ Green so I would try to force it to anyone else.

On the alternative taking a risk with Torrey Smith often is how you make a big play and if you never take risks you will get shredded for that.

To further that last point a lot of times people here will criticize Pees for not blitzing enough because when he does it seems to work but then sometimes when he does they give up a big play and then everyone blames him for that to but at its core blitzing is one of the most basic calculated risks and you do it not just to generate a big play but also so that the opposing team has to assume such risks are coming and has to react accordingly so that even if they arent they cant get greedy.  However the problem with risks is sometimes you get burned but if you have enough elite pass rushers and a great safety then you can mitigate that risk greatly but without Suggs and without a great safety they do not have that.

kap is awful and Torrey was their only weapon. You take away their weapon and make them beat you some other way.

Double him all day and take away their only threat. It was poor play. At least make it jimmy or webb, not Wright who was signed of the street that week.

Anyway. Think this has run its course. You blame Ozzie, I blame pees. We are going to keep going around in circles. Good debate though, you actually had good arguments.
