Mosley is good but he isnt as complete as say Suggs is and gets downright abused anytime he is asked to cover a TE so you either cant let that happen which greatly limits your pass rush options or you accept that he is going to get burned a few times a game.

Jimmy can be elite all day but he is only elite corner on this team at the moment and that is a problem of talent. If the defensive line had as much talent as the secondary then there would be no problems on this team but it does not have that and you need more then one great secondary player to shut down passing offenses.

When everyone heard Pees say how good they would be if not for the big plays they gave up most people saw that as him making excuses but what it was was him calling out the inadequate safety play because preventing those plays is largely there job. They are the backbone of the secondary and when the backbone is weak no matter how good the rest of it is the secondary will suffer.

big plays like having no deep safety and a corner of the street man v man on Torrey Smith?

Or no deep safety and having Kendrick Lewis man v man on AJ bloody green?

Those kind of big plays?

Buck has looked good in the past three games, especially for a rookie.  Am I saying he's going to be a HoFer?  No, but I'm not a idiot that's writing him off completely because of one play.

 

And yeah our defense hasn't been good at getting turnovers, but we had seen a bunch of tipped balls in the first half.  I guess hoping for a turnover isn't allowed anymore?  You only responded to that because you're mad that I called you out on your stupid post about Allen.

No one should be surprised by this outcome today...no one!  And, if this is what is needed (injuries and all) for the FO and Coaches to realize that we need "high caliber" and "high quality" of players on this roster....offensively and defensively to truly compete as we're accustomed to seeing from our Ravens...THEN SO BE IT!  I really don't see the Ravens winning another game this season.

That was a heck of a throw by Wilson, just saying.

He has a strong arm. That is important for a mobile QB. The difference between him and Kaep (beside attitude) is that Wilson is fairly accurate and does not get flustered.
