Week 14 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Seattle Seahawks

Its almost a joke people still defend him. He's been using the injury excuse for the past three seasons. At some point he needs to actually be held accountable.

I haven't liked him since he was promoted to DC.

Ozzie will rock the draft @2016. I guarantee you he will grab at least 1probowler.

Not easy to draft in the back end of the draft..

I'm not too mad at Ozzie. Especially since these issues can honestly be fixed very quickly

Way to fight for ball Aiken!

Aiken has looked like a solid #2 WR (I know he is technically our #1) last couple of games, and that is with good CB's covering him.

he had no safety help last year either.

That last line... We have soooo many holes? So you blame Ozzie newsome? We just have missed on those picks?

We don't have a top nose tackle? We don't have two very good, 2nd round pick DEs? We don't have top pass rusher? A top corner? A top safety?

We have so many holes the front office must be to blame.

Someone needs held accountable and you clearly don't think it's pees, so it must be Ozzie? I just want to hear you say it, can't have it both ways

If I had to blame one or the other I would blame Ozzie for the defense because I just think it has too many weaknesses to be really good but at the same time I am not actually sure in most cases what I would have done differently.  For example Kendrick Lewis did not work out but on paper he was a massive upgrade to a position that dearly needed one and if he had worked out like he should have I think that the entire secondary would look way different.

Basically the Ravens are not a bad defensive team they are just mediocre and the difference between mediocre and great is only a few pieces and Ozzie's offseason  moves did not give them those pieces.

At its core though I think the Ravens were going to be fine if it panned out being a low top 10 defense (instead of like 16th or so where they are now) because they were planning on transitioning to being an offensive powerhouse but then all the offensive pieces got hurt so now they have to rely on a defense that just has too many holes to be great.

Yeah, I think he's a really solid WR. I think he is a good player. I wouldn't call him great, but I do think he's good. He's been a bright spot on the offense and there's not much left to see as bright.

if Perriman comes back and is worthy of his pick, smith some back a year, aiken would be a good number 3. Givens as a 4 with a huge deep threat and our 3 tight ends.

If we get the left guard and tackle issue sorted I'd be happy with that. Happy enough to draft defense!

I know I haven't been high on him since coming to the team, but I am starting to really like Kamar Aiken.

Is it me, or does it look like he's been working hard to make himself better?

WRs today: Kamar Aiken, Chris Givens, Jeremy Butler, Dan Brown, Chris Matthews, Kaelin Clay. Aiken was only one on the team in Week 1. Wow.

Aiken makes a really good 2nd or 3rd receiver on any team in the league!

I wasn't exactly on the fence with Trestman - never liked what he's doing in Baltimore - but now I'm certain, I want him out and far away from our offense next season.

If Aiken can keep this up, I want him back next year. Aiken looking alot more confident and playing with energy.

Is he an UFA?

Ed Dickson with an amazing catch. LOL. I can't deal.

He made two amazing back to back catches for us in the super bowl. Its a shame he didn't play like that every down for us

Im not going to blame anyone except the guy thats been immune to it for years

ozzie newsome.

He's the issue. OR John Harbs. Harbs has apparantly had a much bigger say in who we draft.

Hasnt worked out.

Well neither are going anywhere anytime soon so let's hope they can right the ship rather than placing blame.

The draft needs to be dedicated to rebuilding the defense. High first rder to help the pass rush or secondary. Daryl Smith needs to be replaced. Jimmy needs to get it together next season.

Unlike most, I believe Perriman will be a good starter eventually. Another starting WR is desperately needed. From where? Who knows.

This season included a lot of bad breaks. A lot of bad luck and some dumb game management. In years past it was the opposite. No reason to think we can't fix this going forward.

Lol what the heck are you talking about?  Have you been in a coma the last 3 weeks?

LOL @ thinking buck allen is a legit starter in the NFL because he played somewhat decent against two losing teams defenses. you need to learn more about how the nfl works bro

The Browns winning would be really helpful.  I don't want them getting Bosa.

I just wish we were higher in the draft to select that LT. We need a LT bad. Monroe is always hurt and Hurst is not playing well at all. He got Joe hurt.

see, I think we have great talent at each levels. The building blocks. Safety CB mlb Dt.

I think we are one more top player and a new coach from a top defense. One new coach from a better than average defense.

A new co ordinator, with a Bosa or Hargreaves or a play making ramsey at safety, I think we have the talent to be the defense we are used to.

I think, ignoring position, Williams is one of the best players in the league, he does his job better than anybody. Mosley is a great young talent. Jimmy has shutdown potential, we've seen it. Hill is great close to the LOS. Doom can rush like anyone else.

We are another top pass rusher (bosa) to help the back end, or a deep safety (ramsey) or a tip 2nd CB to help the pass rush (Hargreaves.) And a new coordinator to help the players succeed, from being a top.defense.

I believe in the talent we have.

Hopefully Tunsil's still available.

As far as Allen goes, try to remember he started against two of the bottom three rush defenses, including Miami being the worst. The holes that opened up were massive and even Juice probably could have had 100 yards.
