Can someone call over to the stadium and let John and Marc know you can't really run on Seattle when you had to slide KO to tackle and whatnot?

Thanks.

"Clausen led a drive."

Uhh, it started on their 40, so we got a whole 29 yards.  Hardly a drive.

Correct

except we aren't playing depth on defense, we have lost one player in suggs. Every other starter is our starter from the summer.

Except he is the elite defensive player that the defense basically revolved around.  He is the rare combination of elite pass rusher and elite run stopper and you saw what happened the moment he left the field.  The moment he was out Peyton Manning engineered the longest drive of his career whereas he was useless the entire game before that.

The biggest problem in the secondary is that honestly Kendrick Lewis has not worked out in any  meaningful way and THAT is on Ozzie.  The safety is one of the most under appreciated positions in football and its fitting that the Ravens are playing Seattle as I say that because Seattle was not Seattle without there Safety they are just not the same.  They can afford to eat injuries as long as it isnt chancellor or Wagner because they look vulnerable without them because they are the true lynchpin of that defense just as Suggs is the lynchpin of the Ravens defense.

I don't know why they ran it there when Clausen has actually looked rather competent out there

he's had good time in the pocket.

To be fair to Cluasen, he's making some good reads and throws and not making mistakes. That's really positive. The running game is surprisingly holding the offense back, contrary to what I thought

The more I watch this team, it amazes me how much money we squandered in useless resources. We need to re evaluate which players we actually got a return on our investmwnt on, and cut our losses and move on to players we can see play

Did the announcer say that Tucker is the third most accurate kicker? I didn't quite catch it.

I think they said "most accurate kicker in nfl history "

But he will never make the pro bowl because he doesn't play for the patriots

Yeah, he doesn't look terrible.  But on almost every completion he's had to hold onto the ball for a very long time - with our offensive line I hope he doesn't plan on that continuing to happen.

Its not all that surprising.  Seattle is making a decision that they will force Clausen to win the game and shut down the run no matter what.
