[News] How Will Ravens Attack Stellar Seahawks Defense?

41 posts in this topic

its one thing if our defense can keep find a way to keep a lid on the offense and then having our qb throw a pick six. regardless, if our team can beat seattle, the confidence this unit will gain will be incredible. but down this stretch there is only one team i want us to beat and we all know which one i'm talking about

Facing SEA D and Hauschka in the opening round of my fantasy league playoff and Buck Allen is one of my starting RBs. Scared to death. C'mon boys ... shock the doubters!

We will do a lot better than folks think!

How dare you be optimistic!

In case you didn't realize, that isn't allowed here (as the gloom squad showers you with negs).

I will be watching no matter what happens......even if it is hard to watch. This is the when our team needs us the most, and I will back them all the way. Good or bad.   :229031_cheer:

Our offensive line is crippled, it is looking like we are down to our 3rd string QB, our TE trio is falling apart (just for now), Sherman is going to be covering Aiken. YOU ARE OUR ONLY HOPE BUCKY ALLEN!

Our offense is in trouble on Sunday, but I think our defense will excel. Our secondary can handle that basic WR corps. Our biggest weakness has been again stud TE's, and they don't have one. The Seahawks offensive line is performing better than they should, but it is still trash and Russell Wilson makes it look a lot better than it is. I think we are preparing heavily for Russell Wilson scrambling out of the pocket. I think this is going to be a game of field goals.

The Ravens will be allowed 14 men on offense. That should help us.( as per the monitor's admonition--just adding a bit of levity). I will bet on the Ravens --either taking the 11 and 1/2 pts. or take them straight up not ATS depending upon the payout. The Ravens are pros and can stay with any team, even when they are battered. BTW Purple kool aid is my favorite drink.

Is Clausen that much better than Renner? Clausen has had more game experience and is a vet. I suppose that's important but Renner knows the offence. I wonder if he has stayed in condition--he may be getting an opportunity. Hope they give Dan Brown a longer look in this game. The Ravens D will come to play. This game will be closer that people think.

Clausen is here for obvious reasons, as he knows Trestman, and playbook. That brings more of a comfort zone than Renner at this time...Honestly i want to see Clausen play and see what he can do, and with his limited PT in 6 years is really not to much to judge on, i want to see what he can do with this team....We won't be comfortable going into camp next year with Renner as the backup, and any rook we draft, if we do will be in the same boat...And if Clausen fails, i have no issue signing Mallet....JMO.....

To win this game I think our offense has to do one thing and that is protect the ball. Our defense I truly think can cover this team. Can we win? I think it is a long shot but if we keep it turn over free on our side of the ball and our defense does what it has been doing recently I think we could. I really want this game because I live in Washington and I want the Raven Nation to earn respect this week in Puyallup, WA... Got my Ravens colors on my car, just made a custom computer with a big Ravens shield one one side and other Ravens decals on top, front and around the window on the other side. It also has purple LED fans. I use it, my TV and Sunday Ticket streaming to watch the games. GO RAVENS!!!

the defense will be tired due to plenty of 3 and outs by the broken down offense. i hope claussen is able to finish the game. hope we can escape with no serious injuries and see some improvement from the youngsters

Ahem, Excuse me, there's no need for the Ravens to attack the Seattle Seahawks, save thier breath, they will be far behind after the first quarter.

Hope I'm wrong, I really do, but this game will finally break the "streak" of "tight games". It might get downright ugly.

I say stay in shotgun because they have athletic linemen and a RB can chip on them helping O Linemen and attack them with the no huddle with shots of the run unexpectedly of course but we gotta stretch out their Defense and sending our WRs long will help and not Lil short passes between the LBers and safeties while Givens decoy because I'm sure he will get Sherman! LETS GO!

Where we are right now, our passing game is bleak. More pick6's than TDs. We run the ball. With our crippled O Line it isn't going to be easy. Allen and West make their holes and keep moving. They just might. The one bright spot on the offense is watching these guys run the ball. Hoping it can happen. This game will prove their worth. The passing game with Schaub Clausen relate to graveyard humor.

How will we attack a seahawks defense that is playing lights out...? We won't.

I see this as a blowout and might not even watch we just aren't healthy enough to even be slightly competeitive.... The defense is solid but the offense...Dear lord it's a nightmare. Matt schaub was solid-ish. Jimmy clausen barley knows the offense...we could be HISTORICALLY bad sunday. i'd be suprised if we scored more than 7 points.

The Ravens have had success with special teams and defense the last couple games and that is how they will win. Keep the Seahawks offense honest and don't give up those deep play action passes.
