Week 14 Discussion (Other NFL Teams)

Eh both are beatable, a healthy pats team can easily (well maybe not easily) do it. Chiefs and steelers on their day too arent too shabby.

Pats can't beat the Panthers. Healthy or not.

We need to root for the Dolphins tonight. According to Adam Schefter of the Giants lose or tie tonight the Steelers-Ravens game will be the SNF game in week 16.

Otherwise it seems we could get flexed out for a NFC East game.

Just coming to post the same. Let's root hard tonight for the Giants to win. Our matchup against the Steelers already looks ugly as hell. Let's pray we don't have to watch it in front of a national crowd so our team can get thrown under the bus even worse. If that is even possible with the season the Ravens have been having.

Don't know what is worse, us potentially getting crushed by the Steelers on Sunday night or having to deal with another NFC East game in prime time.

Not to mention that it's likely to be freezing cold, especially at night. It'll be nicer for the fans to have a day game.

Personally, I'm okay with keeping up the streak of consecutive prime time games alive for the league's best rivalry. We won't be gone long, so I'm assuming this will be the only matchup of the near future that is meaningless for one of the teams.

Well there wont be any way of us knowing because we have a few guys out for the season, but even if with injuries if gronk and edelman are playing we can beat them still.

Wow this is an insane stat from Twitter.

Reminder: Joe Philbin gave Lamar Miller 37 carries in 4 games this season.

So far Miller is going off against the Giants.

That first down just sealed it and we will be flexed out. I know our record is bad this year but flexing out Steelers-Ravens is disrespectful to not just us and the Steelers. It's disrespectful to the greatest rivalry in the NFL today.

I hope the Panthers crush the Giants 100-0 for this next week.

Normally I'd agree but the next Ravens/Steelers game isn't going to be competitive. The fact that there was even a condition on flexing it shows the respect the networks have for it.

Flacco isnt anything like Eli Manning, if anything Flacco is very similar to Tannenhill.   Eli makes some stupid mistakes, but he knows how to see the whole field.   Tannenhill got the physical ability like Flacco, but he was eyeing on one target the whole game.   It was basically Jarvis all day.  While Davante Parker was more than open on end zones and vertical routes.   Just 2 targets, 2 receptions.   You can see Davante was frustrated, but that is a wasted talent.   Davante should've been utilized, Miami wouldve won easy.

LOL @ this comparison. Flacco and Tannehill's games are NOTHING alike. Tannehill is basically a less accurate Alex Smith.

Hardly the greatest rivalry today when the only recognizable player on the team is our kicker

I just looked at the Week 16 schedule and replacing Steelers-Ravens is going to be Giants @ Vikings. Take a look here.

Week 16 Schedule:

Redskins @ Eagles: Sat Night Game.

Cowboys @ Bills: Not happening.

Giants @ Vikings: The only game in the week 16 schedule worthy to flex into SNF. They flexed Cardinals/Eagles into SNF for week 15 so they won't flex Packers/Cardinals into SNF.

The AFC South and NFC East are mimicking each other right down to the record.

AFC South

Colts 6-7

Texans 6-7

NFC East

Redskins 6-7

Eagles 6-7

Giants 6-7

Pretty much all our team is out, hard to call it a rivalry when it is all the backups playing. I'd rather get embarassed at 1:00 and get it over with.

Seeing the whole field must have given Eli a great view of all his picks during the multiple seasons he led the league in that category. Also, he'll need to miraculously make the playoffs and then upset a team like Seattle in order to not go WINLESS in the playoffs for the tenth time in twelve seasons. If you're suggesting that he's better than Flacco, you're crazy. If you're simply saying they aren't close enough to compare, I couldn't agree more.

As for the Tannehill comparison, you should probably watch some more game tapes if you feel it is anywhere close.

I don't see any AFC team that can beat either the Panthers or Cardinals in the Super Bowl come February.

Except that they will probably be playing the Seahawks.
