[News] Ravens Sign Two Tight Ends

27 posts in this topic

I guess some fans would rather us do nothing. The Ravens still want to win games THIS season as they should. I am proud to be a Ravens fan! This team has everything stacked against them and are still taking the fight to their opponents. Go Ravens.

Some more [not good] nobodies from nowhere here to do nothing smh

Come on, man!! We have no healthy tight end, except Ozzie. And I'm just assuming he's healthy.

Gordon is a giant target...and I thought he had some potential coming out of Miami... not sure why he never seemed to develop into more but heres that one last chance! Lets hope he surprises everyone and grows up a little

Seriously with 4 games left, do you people really expect us to pick up some big name player, or trade for one??? We are just getting bodies to fill in a position that we might have no TE's available, unless we made these moves...

And i wouldn't be surprised if we sign a QB if Schaub isn't looking to good, or looks like he could be a hit away from being done for the season......

I wish we signed Ben Koyack out of Jac. practice squad.

I loved him at ND and I still believe he's an underrated player.

However, best wishes to the new guys; stay healthy!

Funny Ravens had all these tightends and still had to go get more. Soon you will see an ad on TV "Ravens Help Wanted"

Living in Puyallup, WA I am surrounded by the enemy. The only game out of the games left I want the Ravens to win more is the Steelers. I hope Gillmore can play, not just start but play to his level. Hopefully whoever the other TE's are I hope they can pass and run block. We pretty much lost this season in game one when Suggs was lost. The respect teams had for him pretty much meant they stayed away from his side of the field when they could. It wasn't just his rush but how he could even drop back in coverage, disrupt things and almost always contain the run. I hate to say one player meant so much but that one player meant others didn't have to play as hard and could cover other parts of the field. With all the injuries, the fact that we have still been in every game this season so far losing by 8 points and fighting at the end win or lose. PROUD TO BE A RAVENS FAN!!!

Gordon is primarily a blocking tight end, and he has four catches for 14 yards and a touchdown in his NFL

career. The Ravens will be his sixth team, as he has also played for the Chiefs, Titans, Steelers and Raiders.

^ I stop reading after this....

Picking 1st in the draft would be nice but we aren't filling all these holes in one draft, even if we did pick 1st.

I know our FO will do their best to put a winning team on the field next season but it will have to be with a lot of cast offs. Everyone is hurt and there's always a concern that they'll never be 100% again. We don't really have a great track record of happy returns and if they're not hurt, then it's more than likely a player we picked up that's on their 8th or 9th team. All I can say is, I sure hope our scouting team has been hitting the pavement instead of Madden this year!

Wow, watching the Ravens this year is like going to the movies... No matter how crappy the film, you still have to pay full price... This season of "replacement players" can't end soon enough! Love my Ravens but wow, this has been a tough season.

Oh, and a special thanks to the NFL for hiring such incomptence in their referees... An absolute abomination!
