why is everyone so big on tunsil. Doesnt he worry you even a little that he could be a bust.

Yeah. I do worry about that. It's certainly possible. I just think he looks like a really solid prospect with few flaws.

That wasn't my reasoning cause people group think here, I think Ogbah fits our scheme better. If want to know why just ask, don't assume what you think I mean.

Why do you think he's better?

I didn't assume anything, I read your opinions which literally stated you think ogbah is better than bosa because everyone overrates bosa. You said it, not me

We just going to agree to disagree, I will stand by what I said ogbah is better than Bosa.

Nope not that because most on the board has him as the savior to our pass rush woes.

I believe we don't have a 5th, but we do have 2 4ths.

I'm still skeptical of Boyd making it into the 2nd. His off-the-field issues are minor and he puts up the numbers to back up his hype easily.

I'll be honest, I really don't like Wentz. Every time I watch any tape on him he misses wide open receivers (as in doesn't see them) and stares down some receivers. He's one of those guys that clearly has all the tools but I'm not sure if he's got the IQ to back it up. The 4th isn't terrible but I think there'd be other players like Brissett available that would be better, and he's been getting a lot fo hype lately and could rise considerably.

I think only a few WRs are going into the 1st. Boyd to me isn't even a lock. I think Treadwell is the only lock. After that its Doctson and Thomas who I think will sqeak into the 1st. I don't even know if Michael Thomas is a 1st round lock and I wouldn't be suprised if he dropped to the 2nd. This isn't the strongest class of 1st round talent of WRs. I don't see any can't miss talent here.

You clearly said you prefer ogbah because everyone else loves Bosa.

Either that or you need to learn English.

Ogbah over Bosa? Why? Surely can't be talent wise.

lol do you really have no clue what you said? i mean the evidence is right there, you said plain as day that you prefer ogbah to bosa because everyone else likes bosa, you seriously could not have stated it any more black and white than you did, it has been quoted 3 times now and you still are arguing against blatantly obvious evidence.

Just want to give it an initial go. Big Board is Ravens specific (ex. I drop QBs heavy because we have Joe--I actually quite like Paxton Lynch...factors other than need are included such as fit, playing style, attitude, etc.)

Big Board

1. Joey Bosa | DE

2. Vernon Haergraves | CB

3. Laremy Tunsil | LT

4. Ronnie Stanley | LT

5. Jalen Ramsey | S

6. Emmanuel Ogbah | Edge

7. Mackensie Alexander | CB

8. Laquon Treadwell | WR

9. Jaylon Smith | LB

10. Robert Nkemdiche | DL

11. Corey Coleman | WR

12. DeForest Buckner | DL

13. Andrew Billings | DL

14. Tre'davious White | CB

15. Jarran Reed | DL

16. Myles Jack | LB

17. A'Shawn Robinson | DL

18. Michael Thomas | WR

19. Taylor Decker | OT

20. Reggie Ragland | LB

--Not gonna lie after 6 was rough and very fluid for me

Draft

Round 1) Vernon Haergraves III | CB | Florida

- He is one of my favourite guys to watch, there really is not much you can say bad about his game. I hope we get a shot at him come draft day.

Round 2) Tyler Boyd | WR | Pitt.

- I would love to see us where the best depth is at this point. For me it is likely WR with a combo of Michael Thomas, Doctson, Coleman, Boyd being there. I also think there will be great depth at interior/34 DL..it is a loaded draft with guys like Buckner, Jarran Reed, A'shawn, Billings, Kenny Clark, Jonathon Bullard, Adolhphus Washington and likely more.

Round 3) Darian Thompson | S | Boise St.

- My personal favourite at safety and may be the most productive in terms of getting turnovers. We need guys who can make plays on the back end badly. We could have a secondary for the future if we got both him and Haergraves.

Round 4) Carson Went | QB | North Dakota St.

- It is rough not having a decent backup QB, we have a ton of 4th, Went is a guy wh impresses me. Has really nice knee bend for such a big guy and I think he will go higher than this. I do think we should address the QB position somewhat early going into this draft

Comp. Round 4) Joshua Garnett | OG | Stanford

- I just like the way he plays the game, he knows how to take angles, seems well coached and I think he could easily slide in as a starter early on in his career

Comp. Round 4) Matt Judon | Edge | Grand Valley State

- Not sure where his value is but a small school guy. Has a nice dip move, rolls his hips through his bull rush and looks to have all the athletic tools to make the transition.

5) Devon Cajuste | WR | Stanford

- Really big frame, not sure how teams will look at him but he has great hands, blocks well for a WR, has experience lining up in the slot and out wide. Seems like a solid football player

Comp. 5) Kevin Peterson | CB | Oklahoma St.

- I really am not a fan of our secondary and we need depth in every single way. Peterson seems so underrated, has tons of experience and plays with a great attitude.

Late rounders as trade material

If we go anywhere in FA I hope it is at Edge for a guy like Bruce Irvin, Olivier Vernon, Mike Neal, or Vinny Curry. However, I think we go the usual and not do much, hope Suggs comes back healthy, Doom back, Ladarius one year in and sign someone cut or on the cheap

We are not drafting Tyler Boyd. He will either go to Cincy in the first round (my guess) or we will pass on him due to character concerns.

I think Buckner needs to be higher on this big board. Billings too. Way too high on Coleman

While Cincy loves to stock up on WR talent spending another first rounder with what they already have is a little over the top

Jones and Sanu are free agents this year iirc. Boyd is arguably Randy Gregory in that he is an elite talent in a weak draft. Cincy also has 2 safeties that are FA as are both tackles so I definitely think at least one of those is resigned and 1 of the two receivers.

Boyd isn't anywhere near Gregory in terms of issues. Gregory tested positive for marijuana and said that he didn't care and was going to keep smoking. Boyds biggest issue was a DUI if I remember correctly. Thought Bengals had more WR on their roster. As of right now they only have 3 under contract for next season

Well, retype what you meant to say, using proper English so we don't misunderstand you this time.

Anything you want me to clear up for you?

Correct me if I am wrong but those posts look like pretty clear contradictions of each other. I could care less either way, just a weird situation

The way I see it 1.Tunsil 2. Bosa 3.Hargreaves 4.Nkemdiche 5. Stanley 6. Ramsey 7.Treadwell 8.Ogbah

Thats how I view it personally. I feel that Nkem is being overlooked a bit by some. He has insane potential and can be a fit in a 3-4 or a 4-3. I personally like him a bit more than Ogbah myself. I think he has the highest ceiling in this draft class and if he can live up to it will be a monster. I wouldn't be suprised if Tennesse took him at 2.

I seem to recall two very good receivers currently facing bans for drinking (gordon, blackmon). That qb browns guy is also on his way too Edited by Sizzlebshu

I would normally agree with Sizzle. But here's the thing. We have his old WR coach. The guy who knows him better than most of the other scouts in the league. He probably had a major hand in recruiting and developing him, and if I could bank my money on anyone being able to fix him, it's the one man who knows him as a player better than anyone else in the league.

I think it would make a ton of sense.

is always a long shot to predict the ravens taking a wr early, but I'm sure engram will be pounding the table to harbs, and obviously he values his coaches opinions. Makes me wonder if harbs would put in a word with Ozzie and tell him he wants him

Both facts, but not sure how they're relevant to Boyd?
