[News] Jimmy Clausen To Get More Practice Reps With Matt Schaub Banged Up

26 posts in this topic

The neighbors 12 year old son is available if all else fails. He can throw a football through a truck inner tube. And he can bring his own football. He's willing to show up for try outs during the holidays when he's out of school for the week. Could be the next Peyton Manning. Who knows. We got to do something to get a reliable qb.

Sign Mallet as well, lets see if we can find Flacco's backup for next year, both could be cheaper than Schaub as well......JMO....

I am on the Bryn Renner train and I don't see why we aren't letting him prepare to play and at least see what he can do in the regular season. C'mon. I don't want to see Jimmy Clausen we already saw what he can do in Chicago which isn't anything special. Bring in Bryn!

You better be ready Jimmy. Ravens are going up against number 3 defense this week

I'm betting you will have no choice but be in with this Oline

Start Clausen and sign another qb because he will leave the game with an injury. He will be hit hard and often against the Seahawks. Start him because im tired of seeing Schaub throw key int,s so we'll let Clausen get his chance to throw int's.

Doesn't really matter who starts as long as the offense tackles don't hold the dam for the QB to throw without being hit. I bet Schaub is flashing all colors of the rainbow on his body today.

Schaub is history. He is not going to be here next year and if he is it is one of the dumbest things the Ravens have done. He clearly is a body to finish the year, however, Lets see what Clausen has. He has a weak arm and that's not new news. Mallett has a stronger arm but a weaker backbone. At this point, I wouldn't mind seeing Tebow come in and see what he could do. Talk about having a good leader on the team. He may be a lousy qb, but his legs could make it interesting. I am not professing we get Tebow, I am just saying it would be fun. Anyway, we should be running about 4 qb's through here the next four games and see if we can find someone who can be a backup. Schaub cant do it, I think Clausen has too weak of an arm so we have to find someone

At this point it doesn't matter what fresh case you bring in. Nobody really knows the playbook , has any chemistry, or poise for a big stage. It sucks but Schaub gives us the best chance. It hurts just saying that.

Why not bring in Tebow? We can't get any worse than Mr. Pick 6 Matt Schaub. He may not be able to throw a perfect spiral or read a defense but maybe we scrap Trestman's "brilliant" offense and go Gator style. I could see Tebow and Buck Allen doing some read option. The media attention Tebow brings would atleast keep us from getting flexed out of Sunday night games. Forgive me; I'm just trying to find some kinda light in this dark season.

We have Clausen. Use him. What difference does it make? We're going to lose with Schaub. That's a gimme. I've seen enough errant passes. It's embarrassing to watch Schaub lose the game after our defense and special teams play good. Both Allen and West give us a potent ground attack. We need a change over center. Clausen on stage.
