[News] Nick Boyle Suspended For Final Four Games

75 posts in this topic

News Flash: A lot more NFL players than you think take some form of PED's.

They refer to PED tests as an "intelligence test", there are known ways to mask PED use or clear them out of your system in short periods of time. The drug testing is random though, if you get randomly tested in a certain window of time there's no way to avoid testing positive. It's essentially a gambling game that heavily favors the player, the vast majority of PED users will never get randomly tested EXACTLY in that short time window while it's in their system, Boyle got unlucky. The odds are in the players favor to not get caught but every year we see a few unlucky users who get randomly tested while it's in their system.

My Guess: Nothing steroid related as Harbs said, sounds to me like adderall which is considered a PED. Seems to be popular among NFL players, Asa Jackson got caught for it as did like 5 Seahawks players and a few others around the NFL.

What's that small text at the bottom? "Familiar with our system.." not Ed Dickson I hope. I sure hope both Williams and Gilmore are on the field Sunday. And that Boyle gets himself sorted out and doesn't let this happen again. I still remember 'Adderall because Thanksgiving with kids is tough'...

What does this have to do with Ozzie? It was a great pick. He has been a good player for us. He messed up, now he has to deal with it. Ozzie didn't give him the PEDs.

ozzie drafted him. Oh really? it was a great pick? Hes a good player for us? boyle has 18 receptions for 154 yards and Zero Touchdowns on the season.. Yeah, hes really great. I doubt we'll miss his minimal production

Yeah Ozzie drafted him, but give me some reasons for Ozzie not to draft him. Can you find some dirt on Boyle that would be worth not drafting him for? He was drafted in the later portion of the draft. He is from a small school, and has more than held his own this year. I would love to know how many people thought this guy would contribute the way he has. 18 catches and 154 yards doesn't really show what means to our team. He has been a great blocker and a better reciever than anyone expected. I guess for you fans to consider someone a great pick they have to dominate and make the probowl in their first year. He has been a great pick and shows a lot of promise. Also, quit blaming Ozzie for the players stupid mistakes. They are grown men, they do not need babysitters.

Boyle: you may have "Boy" in your name, but the NFL requires "Man" in your game (on and off the field). Learn the NFL rules, follow the NFL rules, have a long and healthy NFL career. Keep working out daily, and best wishes for a solid return.

Are you freakin kiddin me? Come on nick. That mess don't fly in the nfl. Looks like we may need Pitta after all. Boyle looked good in his rookie season but who's to say that wasn't just a result from the PEDs?

Pitta will either have to restructureHis deal or we will maybe have to draft a guy like Henry.
