Boyle suspended 4 games for PEDs

Come on rookie, you're on a short leash now!  He's done for the year.

We now have ZERO TEs.  Just brilliant, I tell ya.

Very disappointing given the solid playmaking ability he's shown us this year.  Hopefully just a bump in the road, and he learns from this mistake.

Maybe the PEDs helped achieve that.

Just great ... the "bright spot" of our team has been our TEs. Well, two are having a hard time staying healthy ... now this.

I guess we're just not allowed to have even the smallest bright spot in this season from hell. Unbelievable.

I never thought we would run out of TEs. I have to be honest, this has been a disappointing rookie class. I hope they can rebound next season.

Buck Allen, that's all I got.

Who knows what this was, but it does suck. What a great season, the crummy gift that keeps on giving.

From Harbaugh's PC today:

Harbaugh: Boyle's test not steroids, but leaving it to him to say what. "I don't think he realized it was something he shouldn't be doing."

Hard to say.  Many players around the league get hit with this and some are what many call "elite"

Is it aderall again?!?

I'd bet it was aderall or something really stupid like that. Why that's still illegal in the NFL will always baffle me.

Adderall abuse can carry some serious effects.  I'm not speculating and saying that's what Boyle was doing, but it probably is good that it is illegal in the NFL.

I'm honestly not sure if you are being sarcastic and whether you are being serious or whether you simply are ignorant on the type of drug Adderall is. It is a category II controlled substance (drug), which means it is on the same level as codeine, morphine, methadone, oxycodone, and methamphetamine. This means that these drugs can lead to severe physical or psychological dependence. It requires a prescription to obtain it, which if done legally, is perfectly fine and the NFL has no issue with this, as we should all know with Asa Jackson. Asa's problem was he never got the prescription, which would also be Boyle's problem should he actually require it.

Making this legal without a prescription in the NFL would be like making morphine or methamphetamine legal without a prescription. First of all, it's against the law. That's probably a pretty important part of the criteria right there. Second of all, it's very addictive and you don't want a bunch of guys wired beyond belief all the time, like could happen if it's abused.

I seriously hope that was a joke or a failed attempt of me to pick up on sarcasm. I'll assume it was sarcasm because you seem pretty smart.

One of the worst parts is anyone can walk in to a doctors office and start rifling off symptoms they read off of webmd or something and get a prescription because there's no real test to see if someone really has ADHD.

Anyone remember that scene in "My Cousin Vinny" where he says, "Is there any more ---- we can pile into this situation? Can we possibly add anything more to this?"

That's how I feel about the Ravens season.
