Tucker was missing them beyond fifty going towards that goalpost during the halftime warmups. The people at the game knew it was gonna be a tough kick. He was nailing it in the other direction.

 

So true, he was kicking into a swirling wind at the east end of that stadium off the water. Qadry Ismail was standing at that end of the stadium for that kick and said as much.

I've been saying it for half a season now. All these peculiar things - uncommon injuries that just pile up, refs making unexplainable calls, tipped balls falling for other teams, perfectly hit kicks just sailing wide for no apparent reason - it's as if the entire Universe is working as hard as it can to direct us towards something, or perhaps someone? I can't help but feel that there are great things waiting for us just around the corner.
