When all of your misses are wide right...

Not sure a new contract makes him a better kicker again, and it comes with risk. If the pressure of possibly making a whole boatload of money is that tough on him, I think we'd all like to work under that kind of pressure. Franchising him, as someone suggested earlier, seems to be the fair thing to do for all concerned.

*Meanwhile, at Justin Tucker's House*

Man, CTFan has a point.  I should kick more left from here on out. Glad I always listen to the message boards.

It's just that kind of year man. Actually will help us and give the FO a little leverage in retaining him for less money. He definitely doesn't deserve to be the leagues highest paid kicker at this point. But I still want him to be a raven regardless. I'm confident he'll get these issues worked out.

Maybe he secretly has been told to purposefully miss so we can move up in the draft order.

Sounds like a good excuse to me!

This was my thought on the matter lol.

Not a bad season to have a down year from the organization's perspective lol. We're playing for draft picks as it turns out and wouldn't mind getting one of the best kickers for cheap.

Tuckers recent woes are just par for the course.  The whole team has disintegrated. His missed long ones have cost me in my Fantasy league. He's the only Raven on my team.

And 50 yard Field Goals are 5 points in my league.  In the end, this year is about 2016 Draft Position. That's all its come down to, so I'm not miffed about the misses, but he's got to correct that if we intend to go on next season, because we are not as loaded as most here will opine.

It is muscle memory. If his motion is fixated in kicking that angle, it is very hard to get it to straighten in a hurry. He'll work it out soon enough with all the help he gets from Jerry and Randy Jackson. But, if you notice once kickers get into a rut of some kind, it persists for a bit. But, Tucker is better than most kickers and he'll soon be back on form.

However, it must be said that with this current form, he certainly will be leaving a lot of money on the table come negotiations for his contract. He can't expect to be the highest paid kicker any more in my view. He'll be up there, but not the highest paid if he wants to be a Raven. Just my thought.

Gradkowski should be the highest paid.

Yeah no.. He can stay... I'm sorry. I just love him. I don't give a damn if he's having a down year. He was fabulous the first three, and honestly. David Akers who was with the Eagles for a long time had a stretch of three seasons of being worse than Tucker has been having right now and the Eagles never gave up on him.

Plus. Other than Brandon Williams who on the team hasn't had a down year?
