[News] Crockett Gillmore Leaves Game With Back Injury

22 posts in this topic

Moderator 3 said it for me. The injury count, especially on the starter front is beyond ridiculous. I'd like to see both Crockett and Williams back in. And also (feel free to hate me for it) Schaub, who I don't know whether he was or wasn't too banged up. Batted passes... he could have thrown it better, but that was tough luck on both!

Put Gilmore on IR like most of the team. Who will the Ravens draft with a 4-12 record because thats what we are going to have. You heard it hear first, they will be close losses but they will still be losses.

We can't have 60 year olds, suffering from dementia, officiating these games. The zebras kill team momentum. It makes me sick to my stomach to hear Goodell "cooking the books"; telling everyone that these officials are so good at what they do. They can't get the coin toss right. The horrible OI call on The TD pass to Brown. The zebras are protected. If not, they would have been up before a senate or congressional hearing long time ago. Schaub has a good pick6 rate. Our red zone offense is abysmal. Why not an end around to the pylon.

Take the rest of the year off to everyone injured and get healthy....its ridiculous to waste playing time here the rest of the year except for tucker....We need to evaluate if he's worth keeping(nevermind paying him ridiculous money)at all.....

I would imagine Gilmore will have a shortened career. Whether it's his playing style or not "a man's got to know his limitations"(Clint Eastwood: Dirty Harry in one of the great 70's movies "Magnum Force"). Just want to add the Clemson crew has a lot of wide receivers, and Gallman is going to be someone u wish u had. Keep an eye on Boulware. I know we don't need a DL but Iowa's Bazata made short shrift of Jake Conklin. I'm not sure Hargreaves was the best corner out there for Fla. Maye had some tackles. Shaq Lawson.

With all of these injuries, young players are getting invaluable experience and will be seasoned for next year. I see Allen, Aiken, Boyle, Clay, Givens, Butler getting better.

Add number 1 WR, pass rusher, and sure up the oline and these close loses may be wins. We are playing with a preseason team and still giving teams all they can handle.

Anyone who thinks that gambling isn't affecting the sport are quacked-up.

Crockett plays with reckless abandon. Unlike most top big TEs, he doesnt have elusiveness or ability to avoid tackles. He is like a boldering rock heading toward a opponent.

He needs to figure out how to keep himself from harm. Otherwise he isnt going to last too long in this league.

It's tough to win when the stars, moon, and sun are against you; but impossible to win when the zebras are against you. Perhaps they need officials watching the game from the box to correct egregious errors or the game will no longer have any integrity.

Crockett reminds me of a mini Gronk! A powerhouse, bulldozer that takes 2 or 3 guys to wrestle him to the turf! He doesn't care about getting hit and doesn't usually go down with first contact.

Wishing the best for Crockett. His playing style is so damn tough, guy refuses to go down. That's why he takes such a punishment every time he gets the ball. After every tackle I'm surprised he didn't get hurt. I'd be in a hospital bed after taking those kinds of hits for sure. You're a beast, Croc! Keep it up! Also, know when to protect yourself!

I'm concerned. Our young TEs, which is supposed to be one of the few bright spots on the team, sure seem to be out a lot. I really hope this is just a part of the dark cloud that is 2015, because we need them to be on the field more consistently going forward.
