[News] Game Recap: Dolphins 15, Ravens 13

I hate to say it, but I will, same "stuff", different day, and no change in the near future........ BTW, that was a truly fantastic TD by Daniel Brown, too bad the refs had a bit of poor judgement once again.......

While this poor excuse for an NFL team is going nowhere anyway, the officiating gets more and more incompetent every game. One phantom penalty negated an early Ravens touchdown, then another phantom holding call (which wasn't called all day) negated a Raven first down when they were driving for a score to go ahead late in the game. The two "picks" that this article references, could have happened to any quarterback. Both were deflections where the ball was batted in the air, only to come down in enemy hands. Tucker's attemp at a 55 yarder had the same problem that all of his misses have had. They fade badly to the right. If they couldn't beat a Miami team that got lit up last week, there is little hope that they will beat anyone else. All of the teams remaining on their schedule are better than Miami. Good Grief!

Defense is getting better. We need stability back in the secondary so these guys can continue to develop chemistry. Valiant effort all around.

THe officials and the National fixed league. THey have blown so many calls on different teams which have cost these teams games. You can't tell me it isn't fixed. Too many blown calls, and they get worse every year.

if the refs had stopped for 5 seconds to check the replay they would've seen it was a phantom call on Daniel Brown..

We need to score more, we clearly had more yards, first downs and all, but we lacked TDs.

Nice to see another game down to the final seconds. We shut down Miami's offense all day, specially in the second half. It was already clear we'd be out of playoff contention, but seeing this team fighting for the win is always good.

the refs fault again, right?  at some point people need to look past the bad calls and realize that this team has had so many chances to win but THEY didn't pull through.  you're lying to yourself if you are solely blaming the referees. Aaaaaand let the negging commence.  sometimes the truth is too hard to hear.

I think the Ravens played their hearts out today, but are just having to contend with the other team, the refs and a King Cobra all at the same time.

4-12 this year.

Yeah.....enjoy the negs. I predicted as much or 5-11  3 or 4 weeks ago. Loved the negs. I'm as big of a fan as anyone, but, like you, live in reality. It is what it is, as they say. Go Ravens!!

Well its been fun but those close games are now over. Now ravens will be lucky to be down two scores. 4 teams with playoff motivation.

We're playing with a "B" team but the officiating has really gotten atrocious this season and it really is starting to look like they have a vendetta against the Ravens. Now next week we get another NFL darling team. Who wants to bet that none of Sherman's hold or PI's get called. I am someone that runs as far as he can from conspiracy theorists but the league has never looked more fixed than it is this season. And yes.... blown calls do decide games.

Asking Schaub to not throw a pick 6 is like asking a snake to not bite. It's in their nature. It's what they do. You can't pick up a cobra and be surprised when it bites. You can't pick up Schaub in the offseason and be surprised when he throws pick sixes.

Unfortunately Schaub will get another $1M. That's the problem with NFL contracts. 2 games; how many INTs, and how many pic 6s?

Just hoping the rest of the season finishes without any major injuries that will linger on any of our good players. If I were making the decision, I will play the rest of the season like a preseason games. 1st Quarter play starters, and the rest will be the second or 3rd teamers. That will secure losses, and high draft picks. Now that Schaub has his $1M already, let him play all he wants. He isn't going to win any games anyway.

The only two thoughts you can have on the official blowing the call on the D Brown TD is that the referee is incompetent or he had money on the game. What's worse is that none of the other officials got together with this jerk to let him know he missed the call. Not that the Ravens would go far in the playoffs but the referees have had a major impact in 3 of the losses. So our record could/should be 7-5. But this way we can get a better draft choice.

This game should've been won. First we should've been up by 2 TDs assuming we would've scored from the 1/2 yd line. One was clearly stolen by the refs - poor Daniel Brown. The second was forward motion was clearly established and we had to move the chain 6"? And they didn't give those 6" to us? Snake bitten all season. Schaub's pick 6 every game doesn't help much either. But, credit him for coming back and playing well to start the second half.

Harbs is coaching his tail off this season. I am really proud of the effort he is getting out of this roster which is, let's face it, not much above practice-squad caliber (especially on offense).

It's extremely rare that I take the persona of an Iggles fan, but the officiating determined the outcome of the game. The phantom pass interference call, two bad spots inside the red zone, a bad mark on the shanked punt, and not calling O holding on an equal and fair basis. One ref threw a flag who was 45 yards away from the action. Outrageous !
