I didn't mean to be patronizing, I'd say the same thing to fans of any team on any week. Re: principles of fair play -- I hate bad or one-sided officiating. I'd rather earn a victory than be handed one. But nobody has ever apologized to us for beating us when we had players injured. We have been there enough times that I really empathize with your situation, and I hope you can get through the rest of the season without losing anyone else.

It's all good, I didn't find your post offensive in any way.

Same, I didn't see anything patronizing either.

i've been to pittsburgh in my hawks gear and wow what a bunch of rude obnoxious people. they dropped the f-bomb on me several times. didnt say nothing until they said seahawks suck etc.. i kindly left them with a middle finger and said there QB rapistburger should be locked up.

Not very smart to wear an opponents gear.  There's bound to be someone that takes exception.

Depends where you go and how you carry yourself. I wore a CJ jersey to Ketchup Field last season and didn't have any problems, but I'd be more hesitant to wear the same jersey to Philly, Oakland or Cleveland.

Should have worn 55 in Pittsburgh and report then.

I've worn Ravens gear in stadiums all across the country. The only place I had a problem was in Landover and that was after they won the game.

Redskins fans are just upset that for years we've been the better team in the beltway.

And don't go to Philly. Not in the mood to attend a funeral.

*shudders from prior memories*

Yeah. There are some problems in the bay. But mainly with that new stadium that the niners have. It SUCKS lol.

But yeah. most fans are cool. Pittsburgh's are competitive but will be respectful in my experiences. Pats fans are deliusional.. And Eagles fans are.... Eagles fans. They just hate everyone. Not just us

Hide the mall santas.

I have only been to Chargers and Skins.

A few times to Skins. Only one isolated comment.

Now visiting cities,,, Massachusetts. Every single time I am up there someone has to talk crap.

Not the fun normal trash talk.

Just common jerk crap.

There are exceptions but by far most Pats fans I have encountered are jerks.

richard-sherman-intercepts-matt-schaub.g

im a few deep.. but did i see shermans shoe fly off after that int?

if so, lol dude can ball and will most likely tear schaub or clausen a new one this week. Both Qbs play scared. cant believe we signed those chumps and wasted 2mill on schaub aka the living quandary and expect ROI. smh. fire our management staff ASAP.

the miami game was more painful than watching anthony wright lob passes for us back in what was it 1998 lol

EDIT: 3MIL!! Holy!! we paid him 3 mill for one year. fire management ASAP

we had a close last time we played. even though we won you guys were playing lights at the time i believe. no one excepted us to win that game and yet we did. you guys were 6-3 i think and we were 3-7 or something like that.

For some reason we would fail to finish against those weaker teams. Happened all year long.

I think this will end up being closer than most people think but we just won't be able to keep up in the 4th quarter.

I'm gonna go with the opposite and say we finally get beat by more than one score. Who's a threat on our offense? Not the QB, not the wrs, not Buck.

Maybe the Ravens defense can play decent, but that's about it.

I think buck and Aiken will do well. But I'm looking for west to be the stand out performer in this game and score twice. Just a hunch.

I hope the 1 score streaks keeps going this will be out toughest test yet. Going to need a huge game from Buck and West keep the ball out of Seattle's hands as I don't want us throwing very much at all with a banged up Schaub vs Sherman that's a pick 6 waiting to happen and Clausen behind center.

You are just rolling the dice.  Sooner or later someone that has been "over served" is going to cause trouble, especially if they have lost.

Actually, I've found that the "mouthiness" is worse when the home team wins. Or to be more accurate, the winning team's fans tend to be the troublemakers.

Unlike alot of posters in this thread, I don't think the Seahawks are thinking, "We should blow this team out! They don't belong on the same field with us!!!"

I think they're saying to themselves (like every team we'll face to close-out the rest of this season), "This team has played more close games than any team in the history of the league, have been completely robbed of at least 3 games due to officiating, should be 'thick' in the playoff race as we speak and have suffered through about 40% of their starting roster to injury - yet they still play like Ravens.

Trust that this will be another battle - win or lose. GO Ravens!!!

I fully anticipate a thrashing. I'll be satisfied if we don't lose by more than 10

im not anticipating a tharshing. you guys are playing tough. my prediction

hawks - 24

ravens - 20

its going to be a lot closer than everybody thinks.

Honestly, you're probably right. No doubt in my mind who wins this game, the only question is by how much. For whatever reason, it is very rare we lose by two+ scores.

It's just really disappointing as a Ravens fan. This is one of the games I have been looking forward to all year long...now we're rolling out second and third string players all over the field, and it takes all of the excitement out of it for me. Not just because the outcome is now predictable, but because games like this is where fans measure where their team is at. To get a convincing win over a team like Seattle would be very vindicating...I just feel that both Ravens and Hawks fans were robbed of a tremendous and exciting game

Because the Seahawks are both on the bubble, have to win and are playing extremely well now, I don't believe it will close. Hopefully, we'll stifle their run, but that's as far as I can see positives.

Seahawks by 10 or more without breaking a sweat.

You know, I've seen a couple people say that we wont have anyone on the Offense side of the ball to get the job done. Personally I think West/Buck are going to have a great game, Aiken will hang in there as he usually does. Anyone heard anything on Gillmore? However, I think Daniel Brown is going to be hungry after that first TD robbery last weekend. Just hope he comes out ready to play.

Literally all I'm rooting for at this point is that we go 16 games without winning or losing by more than one score.  This is going to be tough, but I think we can do it!

The football world had a similar vibe when we played the undefeated Pats.

Granted we lost that game, but we had the pats on the ropes most of the game.

They good and well earned their victory.

Seahawks are immune to trap games this year now, that teams been through a lot and know they can't afford to mess up.

I will be attending my first Raven game. Are there any restrictions as to what you are allowed to bring into the stadium such as binoculars or water bottle?

IMO, the game comes down to which Wilson and OC shows up. The games Seahawks lost in 4th qtr were due to the OC taking his foot off the peddle and playing conservative-run first and second down throw third down. The last 2 games the OC has continued to throw despite big leads and Wilson has really delivered the last 2 weeks. That said, the Raven D has a way of keeping the team in games. Bottom line, I see this as a huge trap game the Ravens could easily win.
