The good, BAD and Ugly Week 13

I would like to see another official in the booth who can challenge plays like that keep the coaches challenges just the same way they are but the other official in the booth can call a challenge or overturn calls being made on the field in certain situations. It would not really slow down the game and it would instill some more integrity to the game calling.

in my honest opinion if they will just take belichecks rule into effect where every play is reviewable... It would move MOUNTAINS. Yeah it would take longer but we would get the game right... It would be one small step for officiating and one giant step for the NFL... And to add on... If you next your 2 challenges right then you are allowed to challenge until you get one wrong. I've never understood why that was never a rule.

Honestly, I'm not too worried about Wagner so much as I'm worried about Left Tackle. Eugene Monroe is exceedingly mediocre when healthy, but that's the problem..dude can't play two games in a row it seems. Hurst is garbage. Problem is that we're stuck with Monroe.

we just need to get someone... Anyone to play left tackle... I mean it is painful to me to wathpch hurst play that wesley kid I thought did a good job for the series he was in let him play stop the bleeding... I mean it hurts to see Hurst on the field... One could only imagine the pain it is for flacco and matt 'pick-six' schaub

Last time it came up people were arguing how much slower the game would be and that's why it was shot down and how they ultimately came to how the challenges are done today.

Most (all?) misses from beyond 50 yards, though.

Justin has built himself up to mythical proportions, where if he's not automatic from under 60, he's bad.

and I understand that but its to a point to where its soo bad I would rather take more time than effecting these games

Maybe that will be our first round pick this year its not fancy but if we could end up with another Ogden it could go a long way to winning games. Monroe is just hurt way too much for the type of money we are paying him and Hurst just is not cutting it.

We have pieces on the offense. A few of them are just really young.

Maxx

Crockett

Boyle

Buck looks good

I think West > Tal

Potentially Perriman.

Hell Juice is a weapon and a pretty good run blocker.

That's not including SSR if he comes back, Forsett, and Givens if we resign him. In addition to Aiken.

We have pieces. The key contributors are freaking hurt.

The pieces are here to have a good offense. We need depth on the oline badly. Hurst sucks. I like Jensen and Urschel as the backups. Monroe is good when healthy but he hasn't been the past two seasons(I think that the turf thing solves that problem tbh). I'd look for a backup swing tackle, and maybe another OG in the draft.. And if Tunsil or Stanley are there I'd take either of them.

Honestly the offenses' problems are overblown.

Man, I've never seen a team that could potentially turn it around super quickly as us. If we make some good moves we're back in the hunt next year. It's clear injuries are the primary issue

I agree 100 percent, which is why I'm not freaking out like some on here over how this thing has panned out this year. There are some guys who are getting a chance to see the field and show that they can be valuable to the team, the coaches are getting a chance to develop these guys ala Aiken,Givens,Allen,Urschel ect,,

Yep. We have 9 expected starters on IR. 9! That's nearly half the team.

His stupid pick, six really sucked. Where's Bryn Renner?

My thoughts exactly.  Schaub has proven the past 2 games he does not belong in the NFL.  He can't make the long throws he throws pick six's on the short throws.  What does he exactly bring to the table.  I mean Kyle Boller sucked but at least he had an arm.

Bad; Schaub, offensive line

Good: Defense.  Actually this gives me hope for next season. If you add Suggs to the defense we have out there it would be pretty solid unit.  Webb and Smith have been playing really well.

what penalty?

I didn't see anything either, but I had been drinking somewhat...  I'm not mad at the loss.  The team is at least still fighting and losing instead of quitting and losing.  Testing our mental toughness.  These games will make the rise back to the top that much more fun.

Well, looking forward to yet another apology from the NFL saying how the PI call was incorrect and should have been ruled a touchdown. Just another win wiped away by the officials and a young mans first NFL touchdown stolen from him. No biggy.

Atleast The niners and the Titans won.

You know it's a year of bad luck when tucker misses over 5 feild goals.

Tucker keeps looking at the field like something is wrong with it every week.

So what's the draft update?

ravens are currently projected at sixth, but if all the teams in front of Baltimore, excluding Cleveland, win one more game (Dallas, Jax, Tenn, and SD), there's a very good chance the Ravens end up with the second overall pick. Given the tough slate of games the Ravens have to close out on, it's almost assured the Ravens lose out and finish with a top 5 pick, at the very worst

lol I noticed that too. And he spends like 2 minutes jumping up and down on the spot he will be kicking from to make sure he's not gonna get eaten by another sink hole. His psyche is all messed up.

I'm not gonna lie, I started to laugh when I saw how excited Terrence Brooks was to return that blocked kick for a (would-be) TD. Man, you know he wants to see the field more.....badly.

The good:  Javorius Allen @ 150+yards today.

Whether we win or not vs Seahawks....if he can perform a 100yd day vs those guys....he is a legit play-maker.

I was dead wrong on Allen.  He is improving.  He knows to attack the gaps, he is improving tremendously on timing.   I can see him being our future.

Yes.

Out of curiosity, does that count Perriman and/or Pitta?

I don't see how you could day either Perriman or Pitta was an expected starter.   Perriman hasn't even played in the pre-season for the team or any team for that matter.  Everyone expected Pitta to never play again once he had the injury.

So what is it Flacco, Steve Smith, Zuttah, Forsett.  That is 4 on offense.

Suggs on defense.  That is five.  Who else is on IR that would be starters?

I was at the game today, and there was collective laughter on Schlub's pick six.  The Dolphins fans next to us asked if he does that often, and more laughter commenced.

It's almost like it's intentional at this point. He's finding new ways to do it each week.
