The good, BAD and Ugly Week 13

211 posts in this topic

The D has been excellent these last two games. Take away two pick 6s (and a PAT and a 2pt conversion) and the D has given up just 27 points total in the last two games. 13.5 pt/game. Very good. Too bad the offense is awful and keeps spotting the opponent 7 a game.

Where has C. Davis been? is he hurt? or is he in the dog house? He was playing pretty good for us at the begining of the year.

He just lost it. Same thing happened to Jernigan, however Jernigan managed to come back.

The weird thing is that Davis is on the inactives list, like the team doesn't even think he's good enough to play.

Justin Tucker has missed a career-high 6 FG, for a career-low % of 78.6, ranking him 30th among NFL kickers.

Disappointed. I love Tucker but the Coaches need to call him out. Not a good choice to suck in your contract year.

well you gotta understand he's missing 55 yarders I mean he's not a robot he is human its probably just an off season

Shaub is done he needs to retire.

Aiken is improving but no way a # 1 or 2 receiver.

What happened to Gillmore?

Allen and West will be very good tandem next year.

D has improved but is it because the talent we playing against?

Trestman horrible play-calling at RZ and what the heck 9 seconds and Shaub throws for four yards,

D brown needs more reps tall and tough and good hands.

Back injury in the 1st half, ruled out after that.

Lots of kicks being missed this year.  Giants missed a chip shot just today too.  Again, I tell folks, be careful what you wish for.  He's a great kicker.  It's in his head... and once he makes one, he'll be automatic again.

We had who out there playing? And it came down to two fluke interceptions for them to beat a squad that's probably less talented than the backup team you'd see in a pre season game. This team will be FINE once we have all the horses in the stable.

At least he's still good inside 50. Maybe we just need to stop needing long field goals.

And I definitely don't want to see him on anther team in the NFL with how things have been going for us this year he would probably end up somewhere else in the AFC North.

Something has to change about these officials... Its not only our games its every NFL games... These guys are literally working Monday through Friday on something non football like then working on Sunday... Its not even there full time profession your telling me? So that how much emphasis were putting into the integrity of the game? Goodell loves it because there's closer games and making him and the league more money... That's what is driving this league... Let's put it simple there is no integrity to the game anymore... All that drives these sports organizations now are money and we continue to feed into it

Most (all?) misses from beyond 50 yards, though.

You DO realize that all of his misses have been either wind related or bad turf? There were a few where the turf under his plant foot gave out. There were a few where the wind blew the ball wide, and the others were from OVER 55 yards, those aren't gimme kicks.

I Highly doubt Harbaugh is worried about Justin Tucker.

When he starts shanking them from inside 40 then we can talk.

This. Exactly this. I want Tucker to be a Raven for life. He's not the problem. We need a pass rusher, some oline depth, another WR, and another corner. The depth thing is easy and I honestly think we can go get a Trumaine Johnson in FA

I'll say it again:

The chickens have come to roost. All the years of neglecting our QB. Flacco's Demise was having no weapons and no O-line. Looks like Schuab's demise is gonna be the same thing. Front office doesn't learn. They stopped learning long ago.

THank you.

He didn't dress, probably just a roster decision.

GOOD = we did play a decent game today

BAD = mat schaub is done, season is done let clausen play

UGLY = refs, there is no excuse for the amount of bad calls, the bad calls are game changers.

National Fixed League.

Can we talk about Buck Allen? He's just tailor made for Trestman. I hate USC players and I really like the guy

Dude We could have a three headed monster next year with Forsett,Buck, and West

I would like to see another official in the booth who can challenge plays like that keep the coaches challenges just the same way they are but the other official in the booth can call a challenge or overturn calls being made on the field in certain situations. It would not really slow down the game and it would instill some more integrity to the game calling.

We have pieces on the offense. A few of them are just really young.

Maxx

Crockett

Boyle

Buck looks good

I think West > Tal

Potentially Perriman.

Hell Juice is a weapon and a pretty good run blocker.

That's not including SSR if he comes back, Forsett, and Givens if we resign him. In addition to Aiken.

We have pieces. The key contributors are freaking hurt.

The pieces are here to have a good offense. We need depth on the oline badly. Hurst sucks. I like Jensen and Urschel as the backups. Monroe is good when healthy but he hasn't been the past two seasons(I think that the turf thing solves that problem tbh). I'd look for a backup swing tackle, and maybe another OG in the draft.. And if Tunsil or Stanley are there I'd take either of them.

Honestly the offenses' problems are overblown.

Man, I've never seen a team that could potentially turn it around super quickly as us. If we make some good moves we're back in the hunt next year. It's clear injuries are the primary issue

At the very worst, he's an excellent third down back.

I mean. He makes good cuts, has good vision, has good hands, and seems to be improving in pass pro. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he pulls a Ray Rice and takes the starting job from Justin next year.

Honestly I have been impressed with West as well he has a burst and seems to pick up blitzes pretty good I think Forsett, Allen and West have a good shot at all being here next season and in the rotation.

and the ultimate wildcard rick Wagner!!!

Honestly, I'm not too worried about Wagner so much as I'm worried about Left Tackle. Eugene Monroe is exceedingly mediocre when healthy, but that's the problem..dude can't play two games in a row it seems. Hurst is garbage. Problem is that we're stuck with Monroe.

I'm happy to be losing these close games.  This will either focus or break the team, but I think it's keeping our guys together.  Next year I think we're back with an intensity we haven't seen in a while.

...thought that going into this season too though with how we lost.

They do seem to give it their all, so can't really complain.  It is what it is at this point.
