Late Round and Undrafted Watchlist

17 posts in this topic

Of course its impossible to tell who will and won't be drafted, especially when it comes to the late rounds, so we can just stick late round (rounds 6 and 7) and the undrafted players together. What are some possible gems to watch for.

One guy I'm watching with interest is Notre Dame WR Corey Robinson. He's had a really underwhelming year but I think his promising sophomore season - combined with the fact that he's 6'5 and 215 pounds - will at least get him a look somewhere.

I remember early in the season people had us taking him at the end of the first...quite the turn around

I never saw people mocking him here, but I do (vaguely) recall potential first-round hype around him. No idea what happened to him (I've already said I'm not a fan of Kizer, but I don't think it's just that - I guess Fuller's presence didn't help, but a lot of teams have been successful with two top WRs), but I still feel like he's the kind of guy Trestman would love to try and get something out of.

I really hate his game lol. Was a fan until I saw how sloppy he plays, he flails so badly I don't know if any amount of coaching in the world can fix him lol

I like Cyrus Jones as a return ace. Also not really a late rounder, but a mid round guy who gets no mention around here id's de'runnya Wilson, that guy looks like he belongs here, he looks the part of a "flacco's guy", he can get physical, he can make tough catches, he isn't a burner but is a threat to haul in a jump ball deep, he is a guy I'd like to see us draft and give a chance to grow. Fwiw I like his floor and ceiling far more than I ever liked wallers

Wilson reminds me a lot of Kelvin Benjamin including the flaws.

I can't see him declaring after a season that ended with 13 receptions and his best stat line was 2 catches for 35 yards.

I really like Kevin Peterson CB Oklahoma St. as for other CBs would like Cyrus Jones too he has a very high football IQ and would be a player I would not freak out about if he was forced onto the field at any moment

Adrian McDonald out of Houston looks like an interesting DB prospect. Seems to get his hands on the ball pretty often

But not as much as Desmond King, that guy gets like two picks a game. Edited by Cillmatic

But he's also projected much higher. That's why we're in the late/undrafted forum

You make sense, I don't like that, lol.

I reject your reality and substitute my own (:
