[News] Young Ravens Being Trained To Win

24 posts in this topic

All I can say is more young players have to be played longer the rest of the schedule to evaluate them and give them more confidence.

I miss all the good players who went down but if you're looking for anything good out of that this is it. I hope these young guys keep winning games.

Ozzie decided to allow young players to replace franchise staples that left in free agency. In hindsight it makes sense that this team is 4-7, but the improvement and the effort from game to game is nice to see. It is just frustrating that every game has been decided by a TD or less regardless of whether we are playing a top team on the road (Broncos and Cardinals) or a sorry team at home (Browns and Jags). To me that falls a lot on the coaching, this roster clearly has talent to play with the big dogs, yet we can't blow bad teams out. Finish out this season strong and you never know in this weak AFC.

Young Ravens Being Trained To Win, Ravens mantra. Not only that they're trained to never give up, face adversity and achieve greatness. Thanks John Harbaugh and Ozzie! I love this Organization. Stay humble!

I think as good as we've been, our younger players haven't gotten the opportunity to prove themselve for the most part until their 3rd and 4th years in thge league and then they have 1 good season and depart via free agency. We've been a veteran oriented team for so long and now forced to play young players who will ultimately benefit over the next few years as we now have a new Ravens football team that can stay together for 3-4 years. Silver linings!

I want to see more of T.West. Dude was a high pick for a reason. Could he eventually turn into the lead dog?

How about some more T. Brooks too. He was also a high draft pick for a reason. If guys like Urban are getting playing time without touching the field for two years, than why can't Brooks? Come on coaches...

To me the fun of watching football is the competition both on the team level and mano a mano in the pits. Therefore, blow out games (whether we are the winner or loser) are not nearly as interesting as games that go down to the wire. For people who want to lose to get a better draft pick then I don't understand why you watch football. Do you just watch it to win and if there is no competition in that, where is the fun? For those that didn't watch the game on Monday night because they thought with loser teams it would be boring, I say you missed one of the most exciting games in the league this year. If you are truly a fan, why wouldn't you watch regardless. I guess I don't understand the logic of the spoiled Ravens fan. This article is a list of young talent that is exciting to watch. I was ecstatic that Daniel Brown got into play after that game in preseason to see if he could really do it. He had a good block on a West run up the middle and was targeted toward the end of the game and was manhandled in the endzone or he might have made the catch. I am sorry, there are plenty of reasons to watch this team and for those who want to be losers or who don't want to be a part of the 2015 Ravens, then we wont miss you.

like i said weeks ago, this is not a lost season if the youngsters progress from game to game.....And they have all played better every week....3/5 of the O-Line are young and raw, but did a heck of the job, the D-Line was just caving in the Browns O-Line...Better every week,is all we can ask for.....:)

They know he can play ask Delanie walker. For some reason they like KL. I don't know why.

These players are learning what it means to "dig deep" and finish.  This "no quit" attitude is going to pay dividends in the long run.

The true professional, from the cradle, is born to win. Whether it be a human or a thoroughbred racehorse. Ask American Pharaoh. The coaches may teach the player some in's and out's but never train him or her to win.

Harbs likes Lewis, thats why....he's ''vocal''.....I like vocal players like 52 and 20...even Pollard, players that can back it up....KL talks a whole lot but gets beat repeatedly and hasnt made any plays

I like that you said this and I also think it's a big reason why Harbs likes Lewis. The guy is vocal and seems to have a good personality, but he is just average. Brooks isn't the most vocal guy I don't think, but he's young and is still learning the game and his position. Maybe one day he could become more vocal too, Moseley is kind of the same way as Brooks, quiet but aggressive.
