Someday I hope to see a live Ravens game but, sorry,it won't be Miami. I think I may be closer to the arctic. Maybe Buffalo or better yet Baltimore.

Well, the compensatory draft pick trading begins in 2017 vs the proposed 2016. Why am I not surprised especially in a year when we were supposed to have a bumper draw of compensatory picks? It is not fun to be a Ravens fan when the whole world seems to be against you!

yeah that definitely bummed me out. Was really looking forward to Ozzie going all out this year. I was under the impression it was already confirmed for 2016.

I have to agree.  I love Daryl Smith.  I did notice he hadn't been on the field as much lately.  But even when he still is, he is making an impact.  It's not like he's had a terrible year.  Slower?  Yes.  But still making tackles.  I do believe he will be exiting the game soon.  I always hate seeing that with certain players.   When they first picked him up, I thought about how bad Jacksonville is, and it was for that reason that I really watched him.  It didn't take long to realize he probably was one of the best defensive players on their team.  And yet I think they didn't want to pay him.  Mosley will do a good job at ILB to guide these guys.  He's already picking it up.  He does well with his leadership so far too.  He's just not the boisterous, over the top kind of guy.

You're right, he still is all over the place! I note when 51 or 57 make a tackle. Whatever Jacksonville was thinking when they let him go I don't know, he's a terrific player! I hope he has one more year in him. You're right about Mosley of course. There isn't anyone near as boisterous on the team as Ray Lewis was anyway. Daryl Smith is also rather laid back and inconspicuous.

Read an article the other day (I will need to find an post the link) that was interesting. It talked about Joe Flaccos lack of passion and how he has had it too easy. He took over a great team, built on defense so there was never a great demand on him to produce too much. He is in a great system, with great coaching and great management and as a result success has come rather easy for him. Eight years into it and he looked to be going through the motions with an even more stoic approach then normal (even for Joe). The article went on to suggest that this injury could be the best thing to happen to Joe's career and that his need to overcome this adversity will bring a new passion to him that we haven't seen in BMORE yet. IDK... but I think it made so valid points and with Joe turning to social media... maybe we are seeing the group work of what this article was talking about... It sounded like a negative article but it went on to suggest that the best for Joe may be still to come and there truly may be some merit to those sentiments!

Looking forward to seeing it.

Two thumbs up to those two Browns fans laughing. Sometimes, when losing happens so much, there is only one recourse left, laugh it off before you lose your mind. lol

I love watching Daryl Smith play, pure hard nose football. I know he does not get much media attention but every Ravens fan I know thinks highly of Daryl Smith. Just because he does not get a whole lot of media attention does not mean Ravens fans forgot who he is and what he has done. We appreciate D.Smith for his hard nose style of football.

As seemless a transition from Ray Lewis as we could've hoped for imo. Great guy, great player with great instincts.

By the way, who was the other starting ILB next to Daryl Smith that year? Hard as I try, I can't remember. Was it a rotation of guys? I found Josh Bynes, Albert McClellan and Jameel McClain on the roster list, but can't remember which of them was the starter. I know it wasn't Arthur Brown, who was drafted that year.

Daryl has performed at a very high level since we scooped him and he still is. He's been a beast despite his age. It seems like maybe his game is altering with time and he just can't do certain things the way he could in the past. It happens to everyone, especially in such an active position. At this point I think using him for whatever aspects of the game he still dominates in is the right call.

Awesome, come to the Blue Lot (where the buses park) for the Bmore around town Tailgate. Ravens fans take over this game every year!!!!!!

I KNOW RAVENS FANS ALWAYS TAKE OVER THIS GAME...

Still remember 2 years ago when the clearly ignorant dolphins music selector was repeatedly playing seven nation army and ravens fans were getting more and more in the game hahaha...

This year I will be able to come there...I'm going alone (wife is 8 month pregnant so she doesn't come) so I'll be there early...

if it doesn't rain I'll come by...

I will be wearing purple jersey no number (can't find my #20 one) and black ravens hat, if it's cold (cold here in miami is below 73 lol) i'll have purple ravens hoodie on...

if someone recognizes me holler...i'll be like a deer in the headlights hahaha

AAAAND...I'd REALLY love to point something out to all the Flacco bashers around (especially matt's girlfriend purpledawg)

Just one name needs to be done...Aaron Rodgers...

Just one season needs to be named...THIS ONE...

He was named MVP past year (not 52 years ago) , he has been playing in the same FREAKING system for his whole life, under the same set of schemes throughout his ENTIRE career, yet his #1 weapon (Jordy Nelson) goes down in preseason and what he is doing now? He is playing like an average qb...

Joe NEVER had the luxury to play 2 years in a row under a GOOD (and I underline good because Cam was NOT good) OC (so with the same system) , is often times surrounded by no-name receivers (remember what he did the years he had some decent ones? 2011 he went one drop and one missed fg from the sb, the following we all know what he did) yet you guys are still blaming him and want him released...

end of rant
