Instead of practicing in the heat this week, they should hold practice inside a car wash... Sunday is gonna be tons of rain and thunderstorms here in Miami plus wind. Should make for an entertaining game!

Go Ravens!!!

I love Daryl Smith, but I think this is the last or second to last season in football for him. He's a hard player, good tackler, smart, mentally quick, can stuff up holes, but too slow in space. I think his speed has deteriorated over the time he's been here and it's obvious in coverage. He's one of my favorites to cheer for on the defense, so I hope it's just a conditioning thing and he can come back niftier next season, but it's more likely it's time catching up. I'd rather see him retire than cut once he won't be up to par. On a bright note, Orr has looked pretty well.

Those two Browns fans laughing at the end of the video was sad in a way. It's like they are beyond mad and now going crazy from finding new ways to loose.

Daryl Smith's age is definitely showing why he can't cover the middle on pass plays. I can't be too mad at him, Ray Lewis was a liability as well in pass coverage the last few years of his career.

The RB backfield is going to be loaded in 2016 if we decide to keep all four which I doubt. Being Forsett is the oldest of the group, I would assume that would make him the odd man out, not because of his talent. To have 3 young studs at one position(like we have at TE) would be a godsend for this offense going into 2016. Once we upgrade the online and add some depth to DB and pass rush(and WR), we should be back in the title race.Looking at the team overall I don't think WR may be that big of an issue if all our young talent comes back healthy and we can grab an extra playmaker in the draft(Tyler Boyd or Sterling Sheppard would be great additions to the speedy Perrimen).

I know that Harbaugh has an intense dislike for Arthur Brown, but he is active and playing on special teams and Orr and Mosley both were beat up in coverage. At one point in time, the middle linebackers were arguing over who was going to cover Duke Johnson and eventually Mosley sprinted out just before the snap but was in no position to stop the pass or make the tackle. NOW IS THE TIME. This is a second round draft pick that we moved up to get. We need to put him on the field and find out exactly what we have before we cut him loose and he ends up being a superstar somewhere else and his whole failure in Baltimore was the Harbaugh doghouse. In preseason he was far and above the best coverage linebacker we had. He played well, yet all we hear is he can't practice well. Put him out in live fire and if the fans see he is that bad then we will be satisfied but I can only speak for me when I say he has never been given a fair chance when undrafted rookies are getting shots. Too many times Harbaugh's personal feeling about someone affects his ability to coach them. Arthur Brown is a perfect example of this.  If what they say about West is true, its only a matter of time before he is in the doghouse also.

Really liked the Browns fan video :D most people of any team get so angry over a loss/losses. But when you watch this video and think about it...how the camera initially swings to right anticipating following the fg kick, but then has to turn left to follow will hill into end zone...then that guy saying "we lost!" Panning back to right those two guys laughing...too funny!

@fusuymada I have to be honest.. I agree with what you said. I keep hearing he isn't getting it done in practice. I have to trust that, I suppose but I would rather see it with my own eyes. Get him more reps and see how he responds. If he continues to be the bust they say he is.. We will see that and move on. I was so high on him coming out of Kansas State. Just tough for me to swallow just how poor people say he is.

I love the 2 Browns fans who just busted out laughing at another Brown's loss. Contrast that image to the endzone shot of Will Hill's TD. There wasn't just 1 irate Browns fan giving Hill the middle finger, I counted 4 furious fans yelling apparent obscenities at Hill, all giving him the middle finger salute, including 1 woman. I can certainly understand Browns fans frustration but they should be used to the Browns losing in any possible way by now. Hard to feel sorry for those type of Browns fans acting so furious but those 2 laughing dudes have my utmost sympathy.

Miami Heat is brutal on RBs so I want the Ravens to sling that Rock as usual with shots of the run unexpectedly of course and run it down their throats in the fourth! Matt will have a better game so sling that Rock because Ryan will not hesitate in hitting up our secondary! I grew up in this Division and witnessed more games then some and when a team doesn't respect the pass the Defense will shut a Offense down stopping the run and pass and the same time especially if your QB is a pocket passers-by which will not last long in this Division! Big ben is banged up for a reason and our QBs don't run or move the pocket and unnecessary finger pointing is done when all the QB gotta do is move the pocket or run! Matt did good in my book I wish they stop throwing passes between the LBers and safeties and do more double moves down field! Is double moves and post patterns not in the Ravens Repertoire because I haven't seen them in this lifetime! Get well soon Joe you on my FB page but you gotta get it together BRO! LETS GO!

Well, the compensatory draft pick trading begins in 2017 vs the proposed 2016. Why am I not surprised especially in a year when we were supposed to have a bumper draw of compensatory picks? It is not fun to be a Ravens fan when the whole world seems to be against you!

I think its very premature to say that Allen and West are suitable replacements for Forsett.  Lets see how they do against a team that doesn't have the 32nd ranked rush defense and how they finish the season.  That being said, this is a perfect example of how Ozzie will use the 80/20 rule when it comes to keeping/releasing players.

I have to agree.  I love Daryl Smith.  I did notice he hadn't been on the field as much lately.  But even when he still is, he is making an impact.  It's not like he's had a terrible year.  Slower?  Yes.  But still making tackles.  I do believe he will be exiting the game soon.  I always hate seeing that with certain players.   When they first picked him up, I thought about how bad Jacksonville is, and it was for that reason that I really watched him.  It didn't take long to realize he probably was one of the best defensive players on their team.  And yet I think they didn't want to pay him.  Mosley will do a good job at ILB to guide these guys.  He's already picking it up.  He does well with his leadership so far too.  He's just not the boisterous, over the top kind of guy.

Well said. I don't know much about Harbaugh's relationship with him, but we did draft him and CJ to address the missing / old people at ILB.  I think the upcoming Miami game would be a  good time to put him out there and see what he can/can't do. As you said, we even traded up in the second round to get him, and he was widely regarded as the best player still remaining at that point. And there's no doubt he's fast, just watch some of his work on special teams. Seems like he would be the natural fit for pass coverage.

FL games are always very purple. Love being there too.  The Miami fans, Tampa fans, and Jax fans, are always amazed at how Ravens fans travel.

Being a life-long Orioles fan, I can understand. Those were 14 miserable years while they continuously found new ways to lose. I can't count the number of times I ended up laughing when they blew it in the 9th, again.

Laughter is good medicine. On related note...every time I watch Ravens game at sports bar...never fails the fans of opponents show up...no matter how odd it seems such fans to be there. This year had to listen to them at end of game...all those games we lost. Looking back, humor helped me thru it lol. It all began with the herd of Broncos fans that kept toasting each other looking in my direction and laughing at the end of our first game lol.

I like Allen and West at the RB - great discovery. However, the RB position is the most volatile in the NFL, so I don't think it's that earth shattering of a revelation. I would stress the performance of these young guys behind a young O-line, which is a much harder commodity to find than good running backs IMO. I'd also point out the stellar performance of the special teams. Special teams tends to be a spot where young guys make a mark. The Ravens suddenly seem to have youth and depth, a trait the team has lacked even during it's most dominant years.

Read an article the other day (I will need to find an post the link) that was interesting. It talked about Joe Flaccos lack of passion and how he has had it too easy. He took over a great team, built on defense so there was never a great demand on him to produce too much. He is in a great system, with great coaching and great management and as a result success has come rather easy for him. Eight years into it and he looked to be going through the motions with an even more stoic approach then normal (even for Joe). The article went on to suggest that this injury could be the best thing to happen to Joe's career and that his need to overcome this adversity will bring a new passion to him that we haven't seen in BMORE yet. IDK... but I think it made so valid points and with Joe turning to social media... maybe we are seeing the group work of what this article was talking about... It sounded like a negative article but it went on to suggest that the best for Joe may be still to come and there truly may be some merit to those sentiments!

Ahh damn, I thought it was gonna be this upcoming draft.

So did I! But, I wasn't one bit surprised that the league conveniently decided this upcoming year would be too advantageous for the Ravens! The year after, they all surmised not so much. Hence, they just struck out 2016 and hand marked it 2017 instead! End of story for the powerless Baltimore Ravens.
