Well I was suggesting O's sign F A Tim Lincecum He pitched poorly in San Francisco. Who's to say Tim might turn out another Palmer in Baltimore?

Umm.... that makes no sense whatsoever. 

Lincecum is 31 and hasn't been a very effective MLB starter since 2011. What exactly has happened in the last five years that you think he will become Jim Palmer, who never had any seasons that bad until the very end of his career?

That's literally one of the worst comparisons I've ever seen.

This is a professional baseball team, not the Maryland Lottery. 

Who's to say Rick Dempsey couldn't win the Cy Young right now? How about Cy Young himself... lets resurrect him and maybe he can dominate. After all, they named an award after him, so he must be great all the time.

If we're just going to randomly throw names out there and hope they stick to the wall, at least aim for the moon.

Well i disagree trading Jake Aretta. Now the guy pitching like a star who do we blame? Mr Angelos of course. Look at the Ravens how they deal with trading their fomer players. Ozzie would never let a player go unless he knows something that a player isn't going to be productive. Look at last season for example. We had a bad season for the first time in 15 years. Those young players have been let go... WHY?? Cause Ozzie knows something that we don't know.
