Freakin Towels

I had a feeling they made towels because they were playing the Ravens. Didn't see any Ravens stomping on them or wiping their behinds with them after the game.

They should have though. :D

I'm tired of all these teams (and the NFL) copying the terrible towel. Bengals, Browns and Giants had towels too.

I think they are annoying as hell no matter what team has them. As long as I can remember, they have done that sort of thing at Oriole games with the freebies (waiving t-shirts, etc.)

Waving a t-shirt is more practical than waving a towel; at least you can wear the shirt later if you so choose, while the towel is just a decorative item and I doubt anyone would really use it for its original, intended use.

My favorite stadium give away was the cammo bandanna a couple of years ago. I have quite a collection of Ravens towels, they look great on the bar if they are big enough. ;) They did not give out anything this year.

For the AFC champ game...I am going to have my 18 month old little girl wear one as a diaper and feed here beans and prunes all day. Should have some nice You-Tube video of that one!

It's such a stupid thing to copy in the first place. I never understood how a towel is supposed to instill fear into opposing teams. Swing some running purple chainsaws around...now THAT'S intimidation.

HAHA...yeah I know. It would make for a messy day. :P

All in good fun. No way in heck will I be able to walk into a store here in B'more with Ravens' gear on all week and be able to buy (or even find) a T Towel. It would make for some amusing video...but not an amused wife!
