I guess one of the "positive" things about losing this many key players is that you can get a good look at a lot of different players and how they can keep up in a regular season game. Great opportunity for guys like Clay and West to prove that they deserve a spot on this team heading into next season.

Not trying to bash, but how do the two correlate? It's not like he got suspended for drugs or anything. While it's a bone headed play, it comes down to simply being a fumble. I want to know why this play is such a big deal for a college kid, but no one talks about DeSean Jackson making the same mistake as a pro

The media can dig up the bones from anyones past and twist it to their editor's choice. That article refers to the past and what is relevant is what a player does in the present.  May I mention Jeremy Ross?.
