[News] Late For Work 12/1: 18 Best Internet Reactions To Ravens' Jaw-Dropping Win

Thank you for fighting till the final whistle!

As a die hard fan, that's all I can ask for and that's exactly what I'm getting. Thank you harbs for keeping your word and huge thank you to the players for playing like Ravens. I don't care about a top ten pick, that's one rookie that could work out or could get hurt or be a bust. A wining mentality is priceless and invaluable to a franchise. Much more important than securing a top ten pick

If we can find a way to sweep the Steelers now, and I don't care how lucky we get, I will be a happy camper!!! Go Ravens!

It's great to have a win, but it was still a fluke. We should never have had our backs to the wall in the first place. People say there's no quit in this team. What we need to quit is, taking our foot off the gas and giving away leads.

That makes 2 wins in a row! Time to root for us to surprise every team from here on out.

Should be 4 straight wins! The NFL basically told us "my bad" vs the Jags.

Shout out to Kamar... played really well last night... still waiting on your first 100 yd game sir... I think they should keep moving him around to keep teams from closing in on him.. he runs solid routes.. Givens is so dynamic in attacking the seams... there are playmakers on the field... just need to put them in situations in which they can thrive.. Juice played well too... some many people... not enough time... Go Ravens!!!

Harbs showed a lot of trust on the O-line going for it on 4th and 1 on our 25...Especially with 3 of the 5 O-Linemen were forced to start due to injuries....Loved the call, and trust he showed in them...

Nice to know the Ravens lead the NFL in fourth down "conversations". Who knew? I have to look that one up. I thought the players talked regularly....on every down. Go Team!!

Nice tackle, Justin ... but I have to admit - you scare the heck out of me when you do stuff like that.

Wait ... I am always hearing when it looks like a guy got a first down because the ball went over the superimposed line on our TV, we are told that line is not official. The same goes for the line of scrimmage.

How often you see a defender's hand on or just inside the line they show on ordinary plays? It happens a lot. How often is that flagged? Almost never. But since they can show it on a play that won a game, it hits the internet so people can set their hair on fire.

On a scale of refs blowing calls, this one isn't high on the list for me ... and not because it was in favor of the Ravens. It just doesn't fall into the category of "how in the world could they have missed that".

Good point...the imaginary line is suddenly "all powerful" lol. Yeah, I think that's why it's good they let it go...or maybe the refs just plain didn't notice...either way I fail to see it being a big deal...to Browns fans I'm sure it was, but in overall calls made or not made...it's a pretty weak one to contest.

the win was amazing and all but what it shadowed was that our players had 3 easy chances for interceptions and couldn't catch a single one. This has been a big issue this year. Our guys can't catch the ball for their life. if we had even 1 int, the game wouldn't have come to that last second

This entire year we have been on the last minute win or lose train....Its just the way the year has gone, but with all the injuries, being in every game says a lot about the heart of the team....This year more than any other, is the team showing what play like a Raven means, no quit...Love it....Proud of this team....Proud to be a Fan....

The line of scrimmage is directly related to where the ball is placed, so it is a definitive line.  If the refs had seen it they would have called it.  It has happened plenty of times before. It is especially important on a field goal where milliseconds separate a blocked kick from a field goal (not that it mattered on this specific play).  When you are watching at home on your tv, you don't have the same view as the refs so what may seem like a hand over the line may not be.  There is no way a ref would see it, and not call it, and instead say "well he was close enough".  haha

Let's not forget that the center often moves the ball when getting ready to snap. The line is where the Down Maker is, but a ref may be looking at the ball instead.  Our player reset after the center had picked the ball up.

Yes, he did reset. The problem is he reset offsides, which is what we are discussing.

Is there a reason to not move Dennis Pitta to a slot receiver role and take the strain of blocking off his hip? Just keep him as Flaccos security..

Because it doesn't seem like the strain of blocking is the problem for his hip.

Funny and fitting that the Browns fan tearing his jersey is wearing Barkevious Mingo's #51 after the 51-yard kick six.

Glad to see the bad officiating works both ways. Maybe Goodell told them to give us a break after they screwed us out of two wins.

Did Maxx Williams suffer his concussion at the end of the first half when he was hit in the head by a Browns player after taking a knee on the kickoff? No penalty called for late hit?? Or when Shaub slid one yard shy of the 1st down (the one Harbaugh challenged) and 2 Browns hit him mid slide and no penalty? When have you EVER seen the Ravens not get called on those.

But the past two times he injured his hip, he was going out for a pass.

Can not believe some fans are still not happy with the win. We played with lots of heart last night and I am proud of this team. There is just no let up for these guys. With what we have to work with as far as players are concerned I am thrilled we came out with the W. Are we perfect heck no but we got the job done.

The Pats have some injuries but nothing compared to ours and the whole NFL is so sympathetic. Makes me want to lose my lunch lol. Poor Tommy ugh and fooey! Go Ravens.

You are right, we would view that differently if it came against us (if we were kicking the fg not Browns) however...lol, what I think you are not seeing is, ...this is a weak call period where as our past grievances with the NFL refs in games this season were something more extreme and involved players impacting in the play in question. Anthony Levine didn't factor into this particular play, so it's not a big deal. We may have talked about it...but you assume if tables were turned we'd have been outraged the refs didn't call neutral zone infraction. I don't agree with you. I see the things we have discussed about refs this year, the calls they made that hurt us and later they admitted they got it wrong...those calls where things that mattered more...a hand hardly matters being slightly off the imaginary line imposed on a screen...and it would be embarrassing if we made a huge deal of that...but WE didn't. And you're simply assuming we would have, based on previous complains against refs this year. I think we would have talked about it but hardly felt robbed of a win over it, if situation were reversed.
