The Ravens just lost the chance to get a top 5 pick. Nothing to cheer about as next year looks a little bleaker.

top 8 will be just as good. relax.

It is disgusting when fans would rather their team lose out for a draft-pick.

Really not concerned about our draft pick, as the last few draft classes are getting the experience they need now, and will be so much better next year. We all know draft picks are hit or miss, and what we are seeing now is the players getting their shot from the last few draft classes. So far they are looking good IMO.....Jernigan is really starting to show his quickness, and Brandon is playing at a pro bowl level....Mosley is looking great as well...West looked awesome last night running the ball, he showed patience and a burst....future looks good...

The Ravens will probably have 12 picks in the upcoming draft and now that comp picks can be traded, I have

faith that Ozzie will do well come May with a top 10 pick.

Browns had their 15 minutes of fame in outcome predictions. Ravens won. All is right in the world. As much as some of the games this year are unwatchable (penalties, unleveraged opportunities, etc) they are completely watchable. We haven't won OR lost a game by more than one score all year. You can't leave early absolutely knowing the outcome. Love the guts the team has. Also, best special teams! 5 consecutive games with a blocked FG. How ratchet is that?!

No matter how decimated the roster and no matter how poorly we play at times, the path to rebounding next year starts with playing with heart on every snap til time expires. Despite a losing record, kudos to Harbs for maintaining the fighting, competitive spirit among his players. Fix some problems, fill some holes in the off season, then the lessons learned and habits developed in dealing with adversity this year will be the foundation upon which the Ravens rebuild and rebound next year.

I was going to say the same thing. They are not true die hard fans. U never want to c ur team lose no matter the record. Never know if we win out we might can sneek in.

Big time props to 3/5 of the O-Line, Urschel, Jensen, and Hurst, they did a stellar job against a pretty good front 7 Cleveland has....The experience those guys are getting is going to make our O-Line really good for the next few years....

I agree with Josh Charles that this Ravens team, with a poor record, tons of injuries to major starters and don't forget all the haters, has not given up. Still has Tons of pride. This team will never play down just to get a draft pick! Never. We wouldn't have it any other way. I have to say what it seems nobody else is saying--What a great job Harbaugh is doing to keep this team together and motivated. Say what you will but that is quite hard to do in this NFL. Just look around. Way to go Harbs!

Definition of bittersweet? Ravens win the game and elect to not kick PAT while I've got Tucker on my fantasy team trailing by less than a point. Still, I'll take the real win any day. Love that this team refuses to quit!

Levine's head and body was back far enough behind neutral zone that a hand barely over the neutral zone really has no effect. A ref is not going to throw a flag over that because it was not flagrant enough. How about talking about the Brown's kicker kicking too low or the ability of Urban to bully his way to blocking the kick. One weekend, people want the refs to lay off on nit picking calls, the next weekend, they want the refs to throw the flag on every nit picking foul, there is just no pleasing people either way. Win some, lose some, get over it.

Kind of like how the Jags failing to be set on the play before the FG last week that wasn't penalized wasn't flagrant enough to warrant a penalty and largely had no effect either?

Really no difference between the two, yet fans on here demanded officials lose their jobs and the game be overturned, but now, when it benefits us, its just shrugged off as "not important enough"?

You can see why some people might laugh at this notion as the epitome of hypocrisy and homerism...

Sooooooo, let's recap...before the game only 6 of 49 pundits picked the Ravens to win...even tho as a franchise we've won 2 SB and made the playoffs many years, compared to Browns who have not won a SB and had 2 winning seasons since the franchise was moved...well done pundits :D 'nice' that you took these things into account when making your selections.

I'm not gonna lie about this one, As much as a ravens fan as I am, I really want us to get a high draft pick, and while I wont outright admit I was hoping we would lose, I didn't necessarily think it was the worst thing ever... but watching how hard this team plays with nothing to gain I can't help but re-commit this season as a fan. Yeah we lack talent, but our team has major heart and the effort they play with is truly admirable... On a side note I was super pumped for Webb last night, he hustled his a$$ off and tackled well, even after he missed a wide open sack he hoped up and sprinted like a bat out of hell to the ball, thats the kind of team player I will stand behind

I just don't see why one can't have it both ways: I, for one, never root for the Ravens to lose, and I am just as happy when we win as any other time - it's just that I'm not sad if we end up losing, because now it has more upside than downside.

I am sick of hearing we lack this. We lack that. We have the guys to win and be a dominate team. We need a few minor changes and we will be back on top. Our guys played amazing last night and this is a great jumping off point for success next year. We are seeing we have some great depth in several areas. We have lost our top two running backs---ran well last night. Only two starting o lineman and the line played well. Our Dline is crazy good. Webb looked good last night. Few new additions left tackle and better secondary then we are set to dominate

The past - especailly long ago - has little to no bearing on the present... I don't see how the fact that we won the Super Bowl in 2000 has anything to do with now, 15 years later.

Last time these two teams met, we had a better team than last night, while the Browns had about the same strength as back then - and they won that game. And this time the game was at their place. Signs did, indeed point towards them being the "favourites".

Makes the win all the sweeter, isnt it?

For those that are whining about our draft slot, get over it. Or go buy a Browns jersey and you'll get your wish, year in and year out. Unreal.

It has to do with how franchises are organized, their mentality towards games and winning. That's why we can't be discounted no matter who we play, we are a culture in this Baltimore franchise of fighting to win each and every game, up to the last seconds of game...our record reflects that where as Browns season records reflect a losing mentality and lack of such effort, so to give them the overwhelming advantage going into THIS game went against such demonstrated performances...THATS HOW ;)

Where did I mention about the Jags? If you look at my post from that game, it was more about the Ravens players waiting for the clock to wind down rather than being prepared to play another down as if there was enough time. I never once mentioned about that non-call in Jags game. The Jags were not set by a fraction of a second. Refs don't have time to break it down frame by frame during game speed. This isn't hypocrisy or homerism, it's a fact of life that NFL referees has to determined what is flagrant enough to throw a flag or what isn't. No human being can ref an NFL game perfectly, it's impossible with today's frame by frame replays. Comparing the Jags last play to Levine's hand is laughable.

Had a feeling we would shock people with Schaub at the helm and beat the Browns... He was up and down and showed obvious rust... on the pick six should have thrown the pass to the outside shoulder of Kamar as the corner was playing inside technique plus the LB was playing Trail technique on Butler who the pass should have gone to as he was open over the middle.. on the second pick he should have gone to his check down as the defenders sat on the routes anticipating a quick pass.. was to congested in there... ran the ball well... wished we had ran more.. West and Buck looked really good.. no disrespect to Justin whatsoever but Buck is much better after the catch... Justin without a doubt has better vision running the ball... we still have trouble covering TE's and have a feeling that we are going to see a lot of that going down the stretch... the defense dropped way to many interceptions... I counted three the drop by Webbie was surprising as the ball came right to him... we need the DB's to hit the jugs machine...smh... really excited going forward... shout out to Brown got some action last night... he needs some work covering kicks took some bad angles but I know they will sure that up... its a short week.. but Lets Go Raven's
