Kamar Aiken has been playing very well as of recently. Putting up consistent games.

I owe him an apology. I've been a big Kamar Aiken hater but he has played well and has stepped up for the team. I have no problem with him returning as the 4 at best next season whereas in the past I didn't even want him on the roster.

It would be foolish of Oz to do something like that. Especially considering how we've pretty much seen enough of guys who we expect to step up at WR *Cough* Marlon Brown *cough* and completely fail. I'm confident we use an very early round pick on a WR honestly.

Im sure the F.O knows Aiken was thrown into the starting spot and isn't a starting WR. Im certain they'll do something about WR.

Don't hold your breath lol. We're as cheap as they come with addressing the WR group

Wouldn't be surprised if Kamar was our #1 next year. I almost expect it.

I think some of us have come to expect too much out of Aiken since he's been named the starter. Surely hes not a starting WR but hes effective.

Sadly enough, that is true. You would like to think this F.O has learned their lesson by now.

  • Miami ranks last in the league defending the run (32nd).
  • We are (18th) and climbing running the ball.
  •
  • Miami ranks (17th) in passing offense and declining.
  • We are (24th) in passing defense and thrending upward.

It we play Smash-mouth (Run and force them to do the same-style) we will be in a good position to get this one.

Yeah but the 2nd we lose the lead we probably stop running the ball.

True. Hopefully, we don't get pass-happy. When you're facing a team that you've dominated this long you should continue to force their will no matter if you get down a few scores. When you can't trust that you've probably already lost the fight.

When we've force that...good things happened.

Depends on which tannehill shows up. Yall think schaub will extend his pick 6 streak? He got the win but I don't think his performance did too much for his confidence. Even his 2 tds were a result of YAC and missed tackles.

I think his streak will stop however.. I do think he will throw another pick, maybe 2. With that streak in the back of his mind, I know he will try to play it too safe, windup givin one up in the process

Well speaking of picks, can our secondary get some? I'm sure they're losing stickers with every dropped INT.

Yeah seriously, only so many gifts in the NFL and we keep giving them back.

One of the most frustrating things to watch is seeing them drop an INT on (let's say) 2nd down and then they allow a first down, big play, or TD on the following play.

Those dropped INTs have been brutal. We need a sure handed playmaker in the secondary with ball hawking abilities and another Ngata making diving picks and Sizz catching one in between his legs. We used to pick off all the hard ones but now we drop the easiest ones lol

Webb's missed pick last week was comical. He went to close his hands on the ball and it had already passed through, like he was blind.  smh

Scares me to be honest. Just another excuse for Ozzie to ignore the WR position.

Unless a wr is the best athlete on the board I wouldn't expect one to be the first pick. LT (Monroe is questionable) and pass rusher appear to out weigh the wr need at the moment, though that could change.

We need more short pass routes to Gillmore. If you get it near him, he will catch it.

Plus he typically breaks tackles. #BEAST

I'm loving our TE corps for the next few years. Crockett, Maxx, and Nick have showed promise, and if Pitta fits into the equation, that's a plus!

Of all the games we have left(not counting if the Bengals rest their starters), this is probably the game we have the best shot at winning.

Honestly as Ravens fans we have it pretty good WIN / LOSE If we win that's always nice but if we lose we are that much closer to a high draft pick to help the teams future and get back to the post-season and a third Super Bowl.

I agree with your post for the most part. It is kind of hard to figure out our most needed position right now just my opinion I do think its a toss up between WR and DB position but it would not hurt to add either a pass rusher or O-lineman. I just hope Oz can find the next great hall of famer to add to the Raven family.

Kamar is a no 3 at best

Which wouldn't be bad at all so long as we address the #1 and #2. Hopefully SSS and Perriman are good to go for next season. Still need to pick one up from FA or the draft.

teams are sitting in our box, especially now with Schaub, his arm isn't nearly what it used to be.
