It will be very interesting to see if the MNF ESPN reporters will have as clear a view on the long term Ravens' issues as Mike Preston has.

Understandable! The Ravens have no featured players (Suggs, SSS, Flacco, Forsett). Who could the networks advertise, Yanda, Tucker? Maybe in two weeks someone new could emerge but the NFL has to make these decisions weeks in advance.

surprised we're still playing monday night.

Monday nights can't be flexed ... otherwise, they probably would.

...so you see all our luck isn't bad, we got flexed out of prime time. That's a break we need, cause I'm pretty sure we'd have humiliated ourselves in front of millions of viewers. I think we're the worst team in the league this year. I also don't think we'll beat Cleveland tonight, the Steelers, nor the Bengals. We're just not up to the task. That "next man up" mentality don't work when you gotta keep saying "next man up" cause your whole team of starters is on the sideline hurt.

The operative words are" think and don't think"

At least the NFL didn't threaten to flex out the rest of the season. They're going to let the Ravens play!!

It must suck for a west coast team to get flexed to a 1pm game on the east coast.

I thought the same thing Cobra....  Seahawks are gonna be really ticked off about that one... especially after that big win yesterday.

The rescheduling of the game seems to give us an advantage, kind of like us getting a prime time game on the West Coast would give them a slight advantage. I guess we should not complain. I may be in the minority but I love 1pm east coast games. I am ready for football as soon as possible on Sunday! Even though I am not a fan of playing in London, I like the fact that I can watch football very early :)

I originally wanted a night game and was holding hope up until last minute. I was at first upset about being flexed out. But then realized an early game might be the best thing after all. Especially in cold Dec. I don't understand why ppl here are saying we deserve to be flexed out...we always put on a good show and keep scores in games close...no one blows us out. We are interesting to watch each and every time (Flacco era) we take the field. So, we are a competitive match up no matter who we play year after year...we've been consistently this way. That's why I'm guessing they gave us 5 prime time games originally. We still lived up to our ability of close games this year...the flex is only because our record and loss of star power draw. But we don't deserve to be flexed based on how close we stay in game scoring to our opponents. If the Texas/Pats game is a blow out...then SNF gets what it deserves by bailing on us. But...I'm happy for the day game regardless now that I've accepted it.
