Yeah that's something I noticed and it disturbed me. I saw it in Clowney but it's not the same in Bosa. Clowney took plays off even as a sophomore when he became a star after that hit he laid. Bosa was pretty relentless last year as a junior.

I'm not sure whether he's trying to develop more in his game or whether he's just trying to stay healthy. I also don't like how he's frequently on the left side going against the right tackle. While he's done well there, I want him going against the left tackle.

Then again, that's not necessarily his fault. Also, Ogbah did play there against the right tackle, but he changed sides a lot. Bosa seemed like he played 75%+ of his snaps against the right tackle while Ogbah seemed like he had a 50/50.

Then again, college doesn't really provide a great measuring stick because offenses rarely sport top notch LT and usually have better OL on the right side because they rely more on the run game. It probably doesn't help that he plays in the BIG 10.

yeah i mentioned earlier i think its just about matchups. in nfl schemes you cant just move your star ROLB around from snap to snap without your gameplan taking a hit, its just too complex for that, in college though you can take your ROLB and put him at weakside 3-tech if you wanted to just because you think he matches up well against the guard(which has actually been done with bosa... and successfully).

and yeah i wouldnt question bosa's motor and heart and commitment, you can tell the kid loves the game, but he really laid it all out there last year, won a championship, has been the most dominant defender in college for 2 years, and is now coasting to the NFL, clowney was always lazy, bosa isnt even lazy now, just cautious. it seems like apples and oranges to me.

Ill say laremy tunsil. Nobodys mentioning him so i will. He kinda reminds me of oher when he tries to time the snap lol

Yeah, LT's that get taken for their strength and potential can be a bit risky. I think even in a worst case scenario that Tunsil could be an amazing RT, but there's the chance he won't be the franchise LT people expect him to be.

i agree. He seems strong and powerful against the run and flashes in pass protect but i feel he doesnt have the technique down and seems slow to react at times and is forced to time his backpedal. I also noticed myles garrett from texas am give him some fits, garretts athleticism and speed off the edge seemed to give him trouble. Not sure how hed stack up against guys like von miller.

myles garrett is special, that kid could probably rack up 10 sacks in the pros right now as a sophomore. i wouldnt call that the most fair measuring stick, if tunsil did a solid job then id call that a good performance lol.

Yeah, I've heard a lot about Myles Garrett, I think I heard someone say that if he were to enter this draft he would be a top 10 pick. I haven't watched him a lot, but all I hear is great things about him.

Garrett may have given him some trouble but that was Tunsil's first start of the year and Garrett got shut out of the sack column and was handled pretty easily for the most part except for a handful of snaps.

Garrett is my second overall player (behind Fournette) for 2017. I think he could have been the top overall pick if he was in this draft class. Garrett is pretty much everything Clowney should have been.

Oakmen (if he goes first round) is just too easy. I don't see him being that great in the NFL. His fellow DL, Andrew Billings, is an absolute monster and should go in the first half of the first round.

I see, I have to check him out. I haven't really took much of a look at 2017 honestly.

*takes Cardale Jones*

I think we are all rooting for this lol

Browns could probably have an all OSU first 2 rounds between Bosa and 12 Gauge

Nkemdiche. He doesn't finish plays (gets pressure, but doesn't get the tackle/sack). Also has work-ethic concerns. He has all of the physical talent you could ask for, but he hasn't lived up to his potential. Whoever drafts him has to somehow make him play harder than he ever has.

Bosa also is going to disappoint if people really think he's going to be the next Watt. He seems like a good, but not great talent.

I see Bosa dropping out of top 5 but due to his ability will stay in top 10 ...

Knowing the Browns, they'd trade down and then pick a bust.

Some of you guys may know that i dont watch college ball and have never really kept up with it until this let down of a season, it has been exciting to learn some new raven prospects.  I was curious on how you guys watch tape on some players, obviously you can just watch highlights but that wont tell you the whole story, i would love to hear input on your guy's research process

My opinoin, which matters very little considering what i just said; I have a bad feeling about Bosa, mainly just because he is hyped  up so much.  I dont think he will live up to his draft position

Zeke Elliott has a Melvin Gordon feel to me

Damn. Gordon is a smaller somewhat of a speed guy and the beneficiary of a talented Wisconsin line. Zeke is a freight train i don't see any similarities.

Gordon is an inch or two taller and only probably 5-10 lighter in college. He was also someone who had short area burst since he was a long strider. Just so we're clear that he isn't smaller or some blazing fast running back

What worries me is that it's an offense designed entirely to get him the ball out there in space by running go/post routes and curls. He doesn't fair well against press coverage and how is that going to translate to going over the middle and consistently taking big shots or consistently working through traffic? I mean, as it stands, he's so fast that he doesn't have to make catches in high volume traffic.

I just don't see the first rounder in him. I know Seth Russell got injured, but Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and TCU really did a number to him to stop him and those are some elite pass defenses in CFB

There's a premium on the next WR draft class after Coleman/Doctson there is a pretty significant drop off

zeke reminds me more of, dare i say, emmitt smith. and let me also add that i think emmitt smith is maybe the most overrated player in the history of the league, and i dont think highly enough of zeke to consider him anything other than a mid 2nd, but that is a comparison i just cant avoid

Blazing? never stated that. If you dont think 10 pounds at the RB position is significant when its at the legs then please ask them guys if you can tackle them and them compare. Watch Zekes game films he delivers the blow. Watch Gordons he's a dancer.

I wasn't saying Gordon was someone who'd bowl you over, but he's not a small speedy back. He's a big, finesse back

I Concur with the assessment of Smith, put Barry behind his line and no one would ever touch those records...

I actually have Zeke as a high-mid first rounder. I think he is a game changer at RB that may not be on Gurley's level, but deserves a top 20 draft pick. His pass blocking is top notch, he is a bull of a runner, and he has some wheels. I get the Cowboys OL was really good, but Smith was also a solid back by his own right. Maybe not Barry level, but still up there.
