[News] Kyle Juszczyk Returns Home As Proven Weapon

19 posts in this topic

Fullbacks prove their worth totin' the ball. Alan Ameche hardly ever caught the ball. He just plowed thu. I can't remember Joe Perry (when he played for the Colts) ever being a "receiver". Marion Motley... Otto Graham would hand him the ball and Motley would sorta walk through the defense until he felt like stopping, signing autographs along the way. Nagursky was before my time, but having talked to "Monsters of the Midway" players who played with him, he just ran over you for the fun of it. If Juszczyk wants to be a real fullback, to this old school fan, he has to carry men on his back for the necessary yardage from the hand off.

Love to know why Daniel Brown has not been called up. With depleted receiving corps he is big and sure handed and a special teams additive. Why would ravens not look at him, he knows the schemes, familiar with the offense etc. Cm on Ravens give this kid a chance and don't let him get away I think he is a player..No one thought Kyle could play either..he is a great draft choice..

He is the man!. I hope his work contributes to win #4. I hope the refs are fair.  Right now we are as bad as Dallas but a step below Philly and Detroit.

I feel confident with a victory tomorrow (asides from my normal negativity, maaloxy comments). Schaub will be fine....as fine can be; off the subject with re Juice- a nice fit to the Ravens with his versatility, with re to Flaccos contract forthcoming (?): After the Superbowl, he and his agent had us pinned against the wall with his new contract at that time. NOW, its our turn to pin them against the wall. Just saying. I'm not certain even how and if it can be done- but it SHOULD. I like Joe, but he has his limits as a QB.

My dream is that we can match the quality of the 1996 draft that brought us J.O. and Ray along with a group of quality starters. The win in Cleveland is not as important to us as it is to Cleveland. This has been their Super Bowl for years. We need to prepare for next year. A top draft pick along with Joe restructuring his contract is key to manipulating next years salary cap. I have total confidence in Ozzie and company to do this. And Matt Schaub get a million dollar bonus for his season. Good luck for the first pick in round one, two, three, and so... This is the NFL. This is the best decision we can make.

Let's see : 2 rushes for 3 yards.... 200 yds. receiving and well below average blocker. He is unable to move anybody at the line of scrimmage. This is a big reason we stink at short yardage situations. Since it is not a running position I'd work Nick Boyle in as a H back next year. His 6'4" and 270 lbs. would be an upgrade in opening a hole or protecting Joe. Never understood this pick since he basically had no position coming out of Harvard and was selected fairly high (4th). He's undersized for TE and FB and therefore does neither with distinction. Good guy but "proven weapon"....c'mon.

he's unable to

4&2 Juice(Juszczyk) = Clutch. Juice is one of the most clutch players on offense. Aiken, Gillmore and Allen too. Greatness Awaits! Go ravens.
