Eugene Monroe is a bust. Can't dump him because of his contract situation. Hurst is less than adequate as a replacement. What a year!

D brown had one good preseason game against fourth and fifth stringers. why he is so popular is beyond me. the coaches have seen him in practice day in and day out he obviously is not good enough.

he's really not that popular. I've only seen 2 or 3 people even mention him in the last month. But the thing is we haven't gotten any production from Marlon brown whatsoever. Daniel is a young guy and we need to get some games under his belt to see if he deserves a spot next year. I got kind of sick of ppl saying he deserved a spot on the roster right after preseason just Bc of one or two good plays - but at this point with perriman- Waller and campanaro on IR and Marlon not producing ( or givens for that matter) I think we should give him a shot. Obviously no point in discussing it now though since he's been released -guess the coaches didn't think he was making progress. Although sometimes I question their evaluation process with the results we've been getting from the wide receiver position year in and year out. Edited November 27, 2015 by January J

It's ashame the Ravens can't just cut Monroe today. Hurst at least is serviceable. What a year! D. Brown would probably give us more than Marlon, can he play special teams? Decisions, decisions!

I'm not really concerned with what guys are playing right now, just that, geez, I hope no one else gets put on IR or hurt in any way, for the remaining 6 games. I guess it's not very surprising that when you start playing 2nd and 3rd string players, especially on the offensive line, you kind of expect a snowball effect of injuries to follow.

Kelechi Osemele's knee is going to be an issue for him next year, when it comes to his free agency. Sadly, it seems as though every other week, he has a problem with it. Also, Schaub needs to watch his blindside this week......Hurst is NOT a viable replacement for LT. Monroe does well.....when he plays. Weird to think he only missed 3 games in 4 years with the Jag's, comes here and misses numerous games...go figure.

Monroe is a bug softie, he doesn't play like a raven, he plays like a teddy bear. Gonna need to draft a OT within the first 4 rounds for sure

Wasn't Hurst the only oline player to grade out in the green last week after coming in for Monroe in the third quarter? He as consistently been been thrown in there and has to be ready to go in a moments notice. He is getting paid the second year rookie minimum and how is that fair in regards to what Monroe makes?People consistently bash him over and over. Not one word has hardly been said of Jensen who ultimately responsible for both of the injuries last week due to Johnson blowing him up at the line. Sure this team is having its struggles and injuries is one of the main reasons. We will get though this year and I think this team will play their heart out in the coming games. This site has too much bashing of the players on it. It goes to show how miserable some people are. I remember Irsay saying the sweetest sound he's heard was the sound of those trucks leaving Baltimore in the middle of the night.... It appears some would like that to happen again!!! If you can't stand behind the team why not keep you opinions to yourself!

i know people question the evaluators but cmon, they know much more about the players than any fan.  They get to see them practice day in and day out.  Brown will never make it in the nil, he played at a low level college and he just isn't good enough. Look at the players that have been brought up over him.  Daniel had two maybe three good plays against a lot of players who didn't make their teams roster.

contrary to popular belief monroe is a decent tackle if he is healthy.  i know thats a big if but it will be hard to replace him.

thats what I'm trying to say Marlon has played terribly.  The coaches see these guys everyday at practice and they believe that Marlon is a better option than DB.  That is not a good thing for DB.

some players are practice warriors, and suck when games begin.

just as i thought Chris Matthews is the new Daniel Brown.  A player that everyone on this forum is going to over hype and continue to ask when he is going to be brought up.  I doubt he even knows the whole playbook man let be realistic.
