[News] Late For Work 11/27: Patriots Fans Upset With Ray Lewis

27 posts in this topic

And the Bills could've won but again bad calls ruined an outcome of another game... So amazing what one man's words can do to influence the play of 50 others. I don't like him so much working for ESPN but in the game of football this guy is the best and will go down in history as one of the best.

Every team has its share of jerk fans, sadly even the Ravens, however the Patriots seem to have more than thier share. When Joe went down for the season. In the comments sections of a lot of articles I saw a lot of classy comments from Steelers fans wishing Joe a speedy recovery. Most of the articles from Patriots fans were not so classy were along the lines of it being karma for Deflategate. The Ravens had nothing to do with Deflategate . And Patriot fans wonder why everybody hates them.

I don't know if it's just me but ironically every time I see comments regarding the Ravens, the Pat's find a way to say how the Ravens are "whiners" because of John Harbaugh's legitimate gripes with referees. Yet their fans complain about stuff like this and have, perhaps, the biggest "whiner" at QB. Tom Brady is a HOF'er no doubt. He's great but if the Pat's fans were honest with themselves, they would see his whiny reactions to players barely brushing him and yelling at refs in a way that might get other QB's flagged and they would shut up (to be fair though Tom took a beating in that Bills game and didn't whine...much). But I agree with the notion that it isn't all fans in either camp, it's a select few that make everyone look bad.

I bet Patriots fans have no problem with Heath Evans and Willie McGinest talking the Patriots up every night on the NFL Network.

It took ngata 2-3 years to finally get recognized for his dominance, it will probably take Williams another year. He SHOULD be there, but pro bowl is mostly a popularity contest

If they keep the Baltimore-Seahawks game @primetime slot...it's because Russel Wilson. It's still a long shot, but I hope they consider that enough of a draw cause I really wanted to see a nighttime game. I could care less about seeing Wilson, I just know how networks think, and that's the only thread hanging on since we lost our star power pretty much with tons of injuries. The Panthers game? They are already in the playoffs, so no ?s there on if they make playoffs, I don't think that's a big draw. Of course there are other match ups that are playoff worthy...so fingers crossed they just leave the schedule be. Sigh.

London is a wonderful trip and great place to visit, but, I wouldn't want to lose a home game over there. The bye-week would have to be wrapped around it somehow.

The pro bowl is a popularity contest, nobody will enjoy hearing this but there is no reason for OUR man Tucker to be 2nd in kicker votes when he's about 28th in percentage... Hopefully he gets it back next season we gotta resign him tho and after this season I doubt he's as expensive as before

I have absolutely no repect for any Patriot's fan any longer..... They completely lost my respect after the playoff game last year, and made it 10 times worse by slamming Coach Harbaugh for, lets just say it as nicely as I can, "having no character" and many other really nasty garbage things flung, not to mention cheering vehemently every time one of our 1st stringers went down with an injury..... Broke the camels back for sure when they loudly cheered Joe and Justin getting injured and out for the year, and actually said they deserved it.... What????!!!!! However, I will never lower myself to their gutter standards and wish anything bad on their team, guess I was raised better...... But I will say they can kmb......

On a side note, every Steeler fan I came across was nothing short of sympathetic for all the players we have lost this season, they may have stated they still hate us, but many defended the Ravens to slimey NE fans, and expressed honest and deep sadness for losing Joe and Justin last week..... Steeler fans have way much more respect from me......

The Patriots fans just think we've got bad karma, what they will one day realize...next year perhaps...is that when you go 'up' as much as they have this year, the only way to go next is down...and as they go down, any other team fan of football can call it their karma, but truth is it's just the nature of the sport and Pats will have their share of bad seasons to come...plus Brady is no spring chicken, he'll retire soon that will shake them up. They might as well enjoy their great season, as it doesn't last...for any team. So enjoy, but to call our tough season our karma for anything we did or didn't do to the Pats is simply...ridiculous.

The Patriots don't care about the game, don't care about the rules, don't care about the fans. They prove it by the smug attitude and constant rule breaking (cheating). They don't respect it. It reminds me of hooking up my game genie back in the day and destroying the games I had sitting around. Md dad saw me beating games and told me how good I was at the game console. I didn't think much of it because I was obviously cheating. The end result was I got bored with me games real quick and felt no further satisfaction playing. At some point soon Brady and Belicheck will walk away. People will say it is because they ran out of accomplishments to achieve but in my opinion it will be to cover up the methods they took to achieve those SuperBowls and because eventually the unfair competitive advantage takes the joy out of winning.

I wonder if Jimmy Clausen will find himself starting just before Schaub gets that $1 mil bonus. It wouldn't even necessarily be a downgrade--Clausen knows the system, and Schaub is still bad. Also good on Ray for rustling those NE jimmies. Tr0ll away Ray

That is the best news I have heard in sometime. The pats fans upset. Good for them. They should get

so upset about their team cheating. Never happen.......

Don't know about anyone else but the Pats fans being upset just makes my day! I also would really like someone anyone to wipe Tom's smirk off his face on national TV. That would also make my year lol.
