I really think if the Pats won this they would have gone undefeated.

Hope Gronk is okay, I hate the Pats and all but would never wish an injury on anyone - especially such an amazing player like him.

Agreed.

Ticked me off when some Pats fans were joking and laughing about the death of Torrey Smith's brother a few years back.

I wonder how many Pats fans have realized that Darian Stewart is a former Raven and will be blaming us for Gronk's injury.

Carrying on the "Patriots Killer" moniker for Pollard and doing us proud

If I were a trash Patriots fan I'd be talking about how it's "karma" that Gronk got taken out by a former Raven.

But I'm not a trash fan, so I'll just wish him well and hope his injury isn't serious.

I think even with the insane amount of injuries we still run through the afc, but i think the panthers/cards/vikings crush us in this state

Still the clear favorites for sure, but no longer a guarantee in my mind.

Gronk walking around under his own power - doubt its serious.

Sprained MCL is my guess. Will probably shut him down for the regular season though

Just like how some of them laughed about the death of Torrey Smith's brother.

Or how Joe's injury was karma for Deflategate.

Everything on Twitter from trusted sources is pointing towards it not being that serious.  I'm guessing no ligament damage, just a massive amount of pain from the powerful direct hit to his leg in the cold weather.

If the Broncos were smart they'd officially name Osweiler as their starting QB from here on out.

Osweiler is also in the last year of his rookie deal, meaning they have to extend him now or risk losing him or paying him the hefty franchise tag.

If Peyton Manning is playing in 2016, it's not for the Broncos that's the only thing we know about 2016.

I'm so glad NE lost...and that I chose Denver in pick'em. I don't know if the rest of their opponents stand a chance, but hope springs eternal.

I have a bad feeling about this.

That will make for an interesting offseason. Of course, for us Ravens fans it was always going to be.

Lol if anyone other than NE wins the SB th media will talk about it for a day and than it will be all about Peyton Manning.

Carey was actually a really good ref when he was active, imo. So it's crazy how bad he is in the booth.

I thought he was always fair and impartial when officiating our games. He also gave us a lot of calls that most crews didn't give us. I liked him a lot. There was one crew that always screwed us against the steelers.

It looked pretty bad on the replay. You could see his leg flex in the wrong direction and he seemed to be in considerable pain. But current reports seem to support your comment - He may miss some time, but is likely going to be OK.

I have to admit, seeing the Pats loose under those circumstances took a lot of the fun out of seeing Brady sulk on the sidelines (being that I really thought he tore his knee completely). Not that we all don't have to face key injuries ... it is just really wearing me out seeing so many NFL studs going to the sidelines. It has been a really, really bad year all the way around.

On the interview, he said the calls didn't go in his way hence he lost; it's like he must be proud to win if the Refs help him to win.  It seems to me it's ok to bend the rules to win as long as no one catches it.....

Oh, no doubt Brady is a loathsome creature. Some want to say they are disliked because of jealousy, but there is much more to it than that, when it comes to the Patriots.Nobody whines harder when a rare call goes against him or he doesn't get the white gloves treatment from the refs when he gets hit. Seriously, just listening to the guy in post game interviews makes me cringe.

All I was saying was, I didn't feel good at all when it appeared that Gronk had suffered a serious knee injury - one that I really thought was a season ender. Still, glad to see that we won't be talking about an undefeated season for the Pats anymore.

Pat's fan from my Facebook page...

Good luck to the Browns & Ravens in tonights monday night football. Hopefully you'll get better refs than the Patriots & Broncos did last night.

My Response:
It's been that way all year long Alan... You just got your share last night... along with the Cardinals. Welcome to the club dude... Man, One loss and sour grapes.

Him:  No, not sour grapes. The Pats had a very difficult time last night and that call in the end zone was the difference between 3rd and 19 or as the ref saw it 1st and goal. The call was horrible. With all the injuries this year they have done really well. The officiating this year through out the league has been bad.

My Response:
The refs actually GAVE the Jags a WIN against us, and even admitted it after the fact. You're right the officiating has been really bad... Teams like the Packers, Cardinals, Ravens, and many other top tier teams have suffered all year long... Like I said... If this is the first game the Patriots felt it, then you've been blessed.  The same crew had the Cardinals game yesterday and it was atrocious,

It's the first time this year it's made a difference between a possible win or loss. Not the first bad call by far but before it didn't effect the outcome. I give the Bronco's quarterback a thumbs up on a great game but that call in the end zone was really bad. Now we'll put the pressure of a perfect season behind us and worry about next week.

You really can't make this up. Did he not read the part about the refs ADMITTING that we SHOULD'VE won? These Pats fans, I tell ya. If they lose, it's always because of injuries and/or refs (almost always both).

The Pats got some questionable calls, but they still had plenty of chances to win the game. All they had to do was stop the Broncos' running game or be better at running time off the clock.

Im not too concerned, we hsould have won but whatever no more undefeated season pressure and nonsense, i thought we'd finish 13-3 in preseason. But the injuries are the thing killing me, in jan and feb they will count if it persists like this
