Jets released Quinton Coples yesterday too. We should definitely put a claim in for him to add some pass rush depth. He is a 2012 first round pick and did not fit into their 3-4 scheme this year.

Regarding the 3rd string QB. Does it really matter? Clausen, Renner, Ryan Mallet, and whoever else. If you are down to your 3rd QB, you are just holding on for dear life hoping to survive and be able to field a team to play out the game without your punter taking snaps.

A great 3rd string QB who should never suit up for us unless of course we are in ridiculous trouble... What's up with not signing Coples though? Don't we have the cap room to fit him in?

This would be a great time to have one of those miracle backup QB's whom we can trade away next year for high draft choices when Joe comes back, but our front office doesn't work the way some of the other teams do. No one will want Schaub or Clausen next year. Let Renner play!

I'm still excited to come to Baltimore in Dec, ...why? No idea...Flaccos out, Forsett out, Steve Smith out, Terrell Suggs out, Camp out, Pitta out, etc etc etc. The Staduim will be half full (I hope it's that full) good thing is, those will be the die hard fans so should be fun. (But still excited because...)This is a beautiful city and the namesake of team Edgar Allan Poe is buried here. Got some nice sites to see, and tho I've been here before I need to see why it's call charm city. And, I'll cheer the team we have, even tho it's a skeleton of its former self. That's what we're working with, that's what we'll do. This adversity only makes us more versatile team in future and gives us the advantages of such experiences of dealing with tough situations.

Most of how so called fans suck. One bad season and everyone is so negative and down on this team. Like anyone of those complaining can actually do better.Everyone is entitled to feel the way they do i get it , but so many fans have been wining the whole season. To the real fans hang in there and i actually believe Matt Shaub will win some games. excuse my rant but so many people that never even played the game are the main ones freaking complaining about everything

@darkraven in va, I can understand you because making playoffs is rarity only 6 teams per 2 leagues make playoffs, so for this team to make it...6 out of last 7 years was it? That's remarkable. So this year they don't make it to playoffs, it's still a good record to go so many years IN playoffs, and it's actually quite rare to do such consistently. So, fans should hang in there just based on the Ravens overall track record, they deserve that much.

I was hoping we picked up Tebow for the Steelers game -- would be nice to see them relive that nightmare.

But I'm ok with Clausen -- he was the QB out there most likely to get us a top three draft pick.
