CJ Mosley looked different against the rams

jimmys recovering from a lisfranc, and his shortcomings this year appear to be a direct result of it, his recovery speed and his ability to turn and sprint downfield look really labored, give it another year for him.

and personally i dont believe we need bosa to be that guy, i think emmanuel ogbah can be that 3 down OLB of the future for us if he were to fall to the teens he would be worth a trade up, carl nassib is a pure rusher that fits the bill for us in the 2nd, and yannick ngakuoe may be one of the best pure pass rushers in the class and could probably be had in the 3rd, he just needs to work on his tackling in the run game

yeah tunsil in the first and Nassib in the 2nd wouldn't be bad at all. Then maybe cooper in the third?

i prefer double dipping this year, getting one side of the ball competitive in a hurry, my ideal draft would start with tunsil and boyd in the 2nd if his current stock is any real indicator. that, combined with our TEs, and hopefully perriman recovering and emerging as solid, would at least give us an exciting team to watch next year, and we can address the defense the year after

i think we'll be able to address both. I'm pretty sure we will be grabbing a proven FA receiver so I'm still not sold on us drafting one- I think they're still confident in campanaro, Waller and Aiken underneath perriman , whoever the FA is, and possibly SSS.

I think we need to go defense now in the draft. Our offense wasn't bad this year before the injuries ..if perriman was in the mix we would've been really good. Our tight ends will be even better next year- our running backs are good- we just need a tackle to protect joes blindside and then bolster up the leaks in the D.

it would be... unwise for the ravens to think that is a competent wr corps, even if perriman was playing theposition would have still been a question mark. and we would be foolish to bet on SS returning and playing a major role after this injury, its just expecting far too much, and campanaro cant stay on the field, so he cant be relied upon, waller is verrry far from being a NFL caliber wr, and aiken is still best suited as a #3, all this plus perriman being a total question mark... not addressing wr would just be foolish. although i do agree there are bigger holes, i think wr needs to be addressed because we have put it off for so long and now its very obvious that our strategy hasnt been working there, boyd in the 2nd is a tremendous value and likely a better value for this team than any other player we could find there, so it also fits our bpa philosophy

don't get me wrong I wouldn't be mad with drafting a receiver at all, but I don't think that would be an incompetent receiving corps at all. 1) a proven FA 2) perriman 3) SSS 4)Aiken 5) camp 6) Waller, givens, Mathews, and another drafted rookie fight for the last spot. That would take a lot of pressure off of Steve and keep him fresh throughout the season- got the speed to take the top off- got Aiken where he belongs and does best as a # 4 - got camp for another slot guy and to return punts- and then you got the tall redzone threats in Waller or Mathews. I don't see anything wrong with that group at all. Ofcourse injuries can change things like it can with any position...I just think the top few rounds of the draft need to be used for defense- and possibly an LT. Edited by January J

CJ is a beast, he's had his ups and downs this year but the pass rush and secondary has both struggled heavily and put a lot of pressure on him to pick up the slack for them. No doubt he is a guy the future of this defense will be built around in addition to Brandon Williams, Jimmy, Will Hill, and possibly a guy like Bosa or Ramsey.

Yeah, I think one of those penalties called against us fired him up but you could definitely see the fire in his eyes. Combine Singletary eyes with the explosiveness of Ray Lewis and he'll be dynamite. He's got a great nose for the ball. His pass coverage needs to improve but that comes from reading the plays and making his drops. Its not due to a lack of quickness or speed. I think he felt he had something to prove to McDonald who was getting all the pre-game hype. He and Jimmy can help this defense get its swagger back. The addition of another pass rusher and DB will help too. Grim nailed it though. It must have been those stickers!

that's a good point- he probably did feel like he had something to prove after getting the DROY takin from him and with McDonald on the other side.

Lol thanks. I thought the sticker comment fit. I just hope he keeps it up. If he does only good things will happen for us and him. We need a leader to emerge to motivate and give effort when facing the steepest mountains. Effort is what we need--that's what separates greatness--effort..like tomorrow I'm going to give all my effort to eat and cook so I can have the greatest Thanksgiving ever because effort means we can win.

Sorry, Ray Lewis suddenly possessed me when I brought up effort.

It's good to see the effort Mosley put on the line. I've wanted to see that passion from someone all year after Suggs went down.
