For all you cap guys out there, I was wondering some ways you can think of to create enough cap to make at least 1-2 solid moves in FA as well as resigning Tucker. I know there are tons of ways to create cap space, just wanted to hear a few ideas. One of course that I have heard is extending Flacco. Keep em' coming.

We all saw my Jets signings... I think I can do some handy work. Plus, if I got to do extensions to clear cap, too. Oh man

Over The Cap offers salary cap resources you can look at. There is no telling how much cap space the Flacco restructure/extension will bring, which they don't include on there.

 

In theory, you could restructure or extend all of your big contracts and sign any FA you want to a heavily back-loaded deal. That's basically what the Broncos did the past few seasons when they dipped into FA for some big names. Just offer whomever you want a 1mil base salary in year 1 + signing bonus and deal with the dead money later. 

 

I think KO will most likely be our only comp pick. If Ozzie just casts this aside for one year, he could go hard in FA--doubt it though.
