Well done Allen. Also, as many empty seats at M&T, the fans who stayed until the end...you all made some serious noise! :D Sounded like a full stadium...Well done!

Buck Allen is my #1 positive surprise of the season so far. The pre-season games made him look like he's nowhere near ready to contribute - but since then, he's good and reliable.

Buck...looked very good against an excellent front 7. I hope to see him continue to build on this. Buck looked solid and we need him to be solid right now! Good stuff.

IMHO, you are spot on with this. I feel the exact same way.

This dude has shown up every time he's touched the ball this year. Now it's his time to shine. The additional playing time Forsett's unfortunate injury provides should set him up for an even bigger contribution next season.

This team needs to assume that Allen might get injured as well, and sign a back up RB to finish the season with as a precaution. Because based on how this season has gone for us, I have a feeling that Buck might go down too. We definitely will need to draft a franchise caliber RB this offseason.

See West, Terrance.

And the need to draft one is there, except there's also about a half dozen other positions that will require our attention, and we have a finite number of quality draft picks.

He played like a top-caliber NFL running back, Head Coach John Harbaugh said. He made guys miss. He made plays in the passing game, plays in the run game. Agree!

It was a sad sight to see, and just to let everyone know there were quite a few empty seat way before the 4th quarter also, I know my section was a ghost town by the 4th quarter, but regardless of what the season is looking like I'll always be up in my section 516 supporting my team, I have been there every game since the new stadium opened back in 98... Sadly I've been saying it for a while just how spoiled this fan base is and how truly overrated of a fan base we have here, I have been to over 15 different stadiums to watch and support our Ravens, and the majority of those other fan bases would love to have the type of success our Ravens have accomplished in just 20 seasons

I've reported it (and probably others, too.). So, the modes are probably aware, and will take the appropriate steps.

Thank you. Second one today. Darn spammers.

For everyone, please don't quote spammers and trolls. That just means we have to delete your post, too.

Jeremy Butler looked great as well... think he had more snaps than Givens did... but really proud of what J. Allen did.. ran hard all game... and if not for the that ridiculous toss play, he would have positive yards all game... glad JB and Buck Allen are finally getting an opportunity to ball...

Right, they just picked up West a couple of weeks ago and they still have Magee on the practice squad if anything else goes wrong. Forsett has never been "the man" for any team and this broken arm is a fluke injury. The offensive line and playcalling has been suspect this year but his numbers weren't really all that bad this season.

I don't think Allen did anything amazing. His rushing average isn't all that great. The catches out of the backfield were good, but that is supposedly what he's known for.

As far as drafting a RB, no need to grab one in the first round unless we're looking at another Todd Gurley. Just grab somebody in the 3rd or 4th round and take your chances. You still have Forsett, Taliafero, and Allen next season. There are plenty of other glaring needs for this team. Franchise WR, Franchise LT, possibly a starting G, a starting C, Both outside linebacker spots since Suggs and Dumervil are getting old, and yes, we still need help at corner and safety.

Trust me, RB is a very important position. An essential one to compliment Flacco. Running the ball is extremely important, so having a top notch RB should be at the top of our list next season. With so many good RB's coming out of college right now, we cannot pass up on this oppurtunity. Imagine if we snag a AP type of back   :bowdownsmiley:

Im not saying go 1st round for one, but drafting one early i a good move.

Offensive linemen are more important than a running back. If you don't have a great line, its not gonna matter who is the running back. We need to secure an exceptional left tackle.

he made defenders miss, thats more than I can say about any other player on the offense right now (excluding Crockett's ability to run over people)

I really believe that allen is going to be our long time running back he is small fast and has some power always falling forward and can catch out of the backfield. im hoping terrnace west can do some damage and we could have a future 1-2 punch i like tali but he seems to be injured alot.

"Allen had 22 yards, including a 14-yard catch and run" Man did the Ravens lower the bar on their team. Next time will be saying he caught the ball and fell over the scrimmage line and gained a yard. He's great! Excellent.

Proud of Buck in the way he stepped right in and did his job well, taking advantage of the "Next man up" opportunity. However, Buck also earned my respect for way he showed so much concern and respect for his teammate and mentor, Justin Forsett.

Buck Allen will become a stalwart of the Ravens offense alongside another stalwart that'll come back stronger than ever - Forsett!
