Even if it was against the Rams, defense showing improvement... ??? Eisenberg, are you on Dean Pees' payroll? The Ravens played a terrible team today... And the officiating was again atrocious!

The defense will be put to the test for the remainder of the season, as the offense is going to be very hard pressed to not put them in a bad situation game after game. I don't envision us being able to generate much out of Schaub, the weak WR corp and a rookie back-up RB.

Two future HOFer's on IR (Suggs, Smith Sr.), starting center, starting QB, starting RB and 2nd string RB, Monroe is hurt, Osemele is hurt, 1st round picks from this year and 3 years ago are on IR.....and some bad breaks, a year to forget.

I think your right I agree with what you said balfan23. I am not conceding the season but I am not delusional either I think we are playing for a draft pick.

I also imagine that the rest of the players on our team would be a bit worried from here on out. Seems like the injury bug is going around and no one is safe.

From pre-season SB contender to this debacle? I don't think I've ever seen such a season. Credit to the guys on the field today who stepped up and played with some fire. This personnel mess may take more than one season to remedy, unfortunately.

I've had criticism of Flacco in the past and he's struggled the last two seasons, but really, he's a good QB and the one constant thing we had going for us. Now, it's a whole new ball game without him and I have to say I don't feel too good right now. I'm physically sick.

In all my years of watching football (near 50 or so), I have never seen such injuries on a team......unreal! Get well...everybody. GO RAVENS!

What can go wrong, has gone wrong. It has even extended to employees of the Ravens. What a miserable, also unbelievable year. Almost wish it was over now! What a 20th year to remember.

I have not seen more undisciplined defensive play in my entire life. Even saw a few players jogging today in the middle of the play...wow!

I hate to talk bad about Flacco since he played through the injury, and I have mildly been his supporter this season. However, I saw our qb throw two of the most boneheaded ints of his career. With that said, Get well soon

And what's up with the officials. Seems every week they blow a call against us now. They even went to replay to show the qb step over the line. Even the announcers were confused. Ok, off my soap box now. Who we drafting?

Defense saved the day despite everything we tried on offense to lose it. Man it really sucks to lose Flacco, but we have Schlub who can hopefully keep it going for us. As long as the defense keeps playing like this, regardless of where we end up, I will be rooting for the Ravens. Get well soon Joe! You are one tough dude! We are all praying for you man!

In the mist of all this, we did get to see why the ravens let Jeremy Butler stick around, he definitely made the most out if his opportunity today.

This certainly changes the whole out-look. I'd have to say I never envisioned Flacco being hurt. He's been so durable. Now Schaub looks to take the reigns and we'll get to see that investment prove itself. The outlook isn't as bleak as it could have been, like a late season injured Flacco. We need him to comeback healthy. I bet they will provide more quick release options going forth to protect him better. So top to bottom, this team will be evaluated. As many of us had hoped for. Just not in this manner. We can only get better as this has to be the worst result ever. I'll even go out on a limb and say will significantly alter the off-season's plan. Good or bad, it has to. Every player on this roster will and should get a chance. Lastly I wonder how this will affect Flacco's, contract restructuring. But in all honesty I'm really more concerned about his health. Get better buddy, Get better.

Yeah we did and i was pleasantly surprised. I didn't get to see the whole game. How did Givens fair against his old squad?

Me either brother. I can not believe what I am seeing, it blows my mind. It feels like we are cursed.

We're not gonna make the playoffs, but I'm shocked to find out we're only two games behind the #6 seed (Bills).

With everything that this team has gone through, this makes me feel actually a little proud of my team.

the ravens clearly are a snake bit team this year, regardless of whether you believe the referees have it in for us. while today's victory was a nice comeback and a testimony to flacco's toughness, joe played poorly even though he has the weakest WR corps in the NFL. also, the ravens must become a more disciplined team - their continuing penalties s/be unacceptable to mgt who should demand improvement. lastly, they beat a team today that had a quarterback that I don't think could make a top 20 college football team - he was horrible, so let's not get overly-excited about today's defensive effort, improved as it was!

Like riding in a leaky boat when all of a sudden it hits a log. There are not too many teams that could thrive with losses of key personnel such as we've seen. Should be an interesting 6 games left in the season for the team.

The defense looked better because it faced a quarterback who, if not the worst in the NFL, is darn close. Anybody else would have picked them apart. Brandon Williams amd Mosley deserve kudos and the defense deserves a nod for playing with intensity, but, make no mistake, they are the same defense that has more holes in it than swiss cheese. Now that Joe and Forsett are out, Harbaugh and his inept coaches will not be expected to win. They have no control over the team. No discipline. No leadership. Nothing. They all, including Ozzie Newsome, should be fired. His poor drafts have left the Ravens in this mess.
