[News] Joe Flacco's Season Over With Knee Injury

116 posts in this topic

The nuts deflators fans were being classless against Joe and laughing at us and saying karma. I have more respect for the steelers fans and they're apologizing and stuff get better Joe, hope you recover like AP and that you come back with a fire to prove everybody wrong next year, and I hope they get you weapons. Go Ravens!

I've never seen this much bad luck happen to one team. Before I heard the bad news, the win today made me even more frustrated about the game last week, because if the refs hadn't jobbed us, we'd be just 1.5 games out of a playoff spot. So, if this was going to happen to Joe, at least this is the best year it could've happened, because we're not going anywhere anyway. Maybe we'll get a high draft pick and come back healthy next year.

Get this surgery asap..Joe.. Then bust your butt work hard to recover... Then in 6-9 months, likely 8-9 months July/August...see you back at mini camp and preseason without missing a game. Just dont put it off.

There is never a good time to lose your cannon-armed QB. But if there was, it is in a 3-7 season, not a 7-3 season. Get well soon Joe, 2016 this team is gonna come back strong.

I'm sorry this happened to Joe, i really am. I'm a Flacco fan. But seriously, this has been a horrible year, for Joe as well. he hasn't looked good, bad sometimes. He hasn't even looked slightly elite. If he was playing elite, we would have a few more wins. Joe has hurt us as much as anyone this year and he certainly has not pulled us up at critical times and made game changing moves on the field, especially at the end of the games. So, it makes no difference. we were horrible as a team and Joe was horrible too. It gives the team a long time to consider all the failings this year and which was they want to go. They certainly didn't make tool many good moves the last couple years. Let's hope they can right the ship . with ot without Joe.

Ice up son, ice up. You was killing me with those 2 picks a game. Clearly this season you were not elite but still played hard with what you had. Ice up son, go make another baby.

Stop with the curse crap. What do you exspect would happen with two second string, under coached, cap strapped team. Justine got hurt because the other goof missed his block. Ravens had no hope for playoffs this year now they just sacrificed the next two years on a meaningless game. Even when Joe comes back he is going to take 5 games to get in rythem with all new receivers. You still think SSS is coming back? Get real.

The day is fast approaching when knee braces become a standard part of an nfl uniform. The sheer number of ACL tears in this sport are staggering. They should certainly be a standard part of a quarterbacks armor. Especially the front knee.

I wish Tyrod was still in Bmore he moves out of a collapsing pocket to keep the play alive and get the WRs a chance to make a play! Joe stands there and now he's injured he doesn't run because he doesn't want to get hurt so just standing in the pocket get your season done when all you gotta do is move your feet like he could of ran up the sidelines against the pats for a game winning touchdown and a Super Bowl Hurst pancakes his man but no a very very very bad pass and Triple " S " Super Bowl down the tubes!

"ICE UP SONS" The list is getting longer and longer but I still like are chances of winning out! Don't hold Matt back! LETS GO!

I hope Joe makes good use of his time off to scrutinize his throwing mechanics and corrects this backfoot throwing habit he has been getting into. The Flacco groupies seem to think that we will really miss Joe but being we only have 3 wins I don't think that there will be much difference.

Only 13 negs Ahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To paraphrase Bryant McKinnie; when you buy a Bentley you've got to pay for the insurance. I don't think Eugene Monroe was the smartest idea Ozzie Newsome has had in a while. He's on the field one play and he's in the training room for two games. Then again he showed his true colors once he got paid so I can't put it all on Ozzie. I just HATE the football side of some of these players. I just knew this was going to be the season when Flacco got hurt. I didn't want to say it and jinx him, but you could see it coming. Oh I'm hurting so pardon the venom, I can't help myself.

I've been at work since the 4th quarter so I wasn't able to check in on here and share my thoughts. But, my heart is broken, I've been hurt all day just thinking about this, especially at the fact that the same guy took out both Flacco and Forsett. I sincerely wish Mcdonald all the worst of luck in his career.

Flacco is our franchise QB, and even though he makes some flat out stupid throws, I cant help but think of the fact that this man has NO WEAPONS. Im hurt right now just thinking... damn... it keeps hitting me! Why our QB!!! I didn't see this coming. Even though we've had a losing season, I don't want to see our QB getting injured like this smh.

Take it easy Joe!!! And come back strong next year!!! Ozzie needs to get us WEAPONS for FLACCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My prayers go out to Flacco, Forsett, Suggs, Smith, and the rest of this organization. This has to be the worst cards any team could possibly be dealt with. Never have I seen a team be hit with so many injuries to key players. I am very hurt, im literally shaking my head in sadness right now. I love this team.

Touched by a Raven: Ravens 3-7, Ngata-lions 3-7, McPhee-bears 4-6, Torrey Smith-49ers 3-7, Jacoby Jones-chargers(cut) 2-8. A bad year to be touched by a Raven with a couple exceptions (Bills and Broncos).

Just to sum up the tally, IR has on it:

Our starting QB;

Starting RB;

Backup RB;

Starting WR1;

Starting WR2;

Starting TE;

Starting C;

Starting OLB/DE;

Promising DE;

Backup SS

Potential KR/PR slot WR.

BTW this list includes the 1st round picks from 2013 and 2015.

Yet we still keep fighting and winning and losing games by 3 points here, 4 point there.

And some members of the Raven Nation Family want to have a serious discussion about how our coaching sucks and needs an overhaul?
